Located in the Massanutten Four Seasons Resort and set on a corner lot, our home is a spacious, brand new 3,400 sq ft, 6 bedroom, 4 bath mountain home that sleeps up to 16 guests. From the second-level, walk out onto the elevated deck to enjoy the unparalleled scenic views of the Massanutten Valley and ski slopes. Perched high in a wooded-setting, you can literally walk off the back deck into the Shenandoah National Forest. Inside, the cathedral ceilings, 2 family rooms, large dining table, 2 fireplaces, 6-person cedar sauna, satellite TV, and 2-person soak tub await your enjoyment. Our unique, one-of-a-kind multimedia room with 65 inch widescreen HDTV, DVD player, and home theater surround sound system will certainly entertain! Within this gated community, you are just around the corner from the ski lifts, snow tubing park, golf courses, restaurants, swimming and many other activities. It's a short drive to the water park, river sports, shopping and horseback riding. Deer are abundant so watch yourself! Very spacious and a great location!

We rented out this home for a company retreat and it was awesome. There was more than enough room for everyone and we loved the home theatre and sauna. The house is also in a great location right by hiking trails, ski slopes, and other attractions. Would definitely recommend!

Pretty good

Stayed here after the fourth with a family of 16. Space worked well. Beds were comfortable. Appliances in the kitchen all were in working order and there were actually enough dishes, pots, measuring spoons, etc.! Massanutten is a great place for a family. As we were there on a very HOT weekend, we used the pool, watermark and tubing and stayed cool. Not a big deal, but there were a few minor repairs needed. The owner and I spoke and he seemed very responsive as he has been on all our dealings. There were also a few housekeeping issues, but basically the house was clean.

Lovely but, Tough Climb Driveway

Loved this home. Clean, great layout. Plenty of space for socializing. Deck was lovely in the afternoon sun. Back deck had a great table and grill. Well appointed kitchen. Never got to use the sauna or soak tub. Too busy this weekend. Family loved the theater room, had a DVD for our JMU graduate. The only down side was the driveway. Holy smoke. My parents were with us, luckily they are spry 70 somethings. You need to be aware if you are bringing elderly or trying to park at this steep grade it is going to be challenging. Also, all trash must be taken to bear proof containers, the closest was several miles down the road. This required trying to fit trash bags and pizza boxes into rental car trunks. I think that as a renter, paying what we paid, a secure on site location would have been delightful!

What a great house...a few minor problems..nothing major...the house is spacious and very comfortable...the front deck offers great views of the mountains..I will stay here again in a heartbeat..The theatre room is great for family movie night and WII games for the children...The owner could not have been nicer...

Winter Wonderland Bliss

In a setting of which Currier and Ives would maybe be envious, my family celebrated two birthdays at Massanutten. The two day snow storm added so much ambience to our stay. The setting of the home afforded us a magnificent view of the mountain as the snow was accumulating. My children enjoyed the skiing and tubing in the falling snow. It didn't deter their activities one bit. Oh, I can't leave out making Mr.Snowman and throwing snowballs. This home we rented was just the perfect size for my crew. The theater room was great to be able to utilize. We didn't have this last year on our visit to the resort. The grill came in really handy for the birthday dinners. The 24 inches of snow did not delay us at our departure time. The roads were plowed so there was no danger of an accident. I highly recommend this home for your family's enjoyment. I feel sure the accommodations will meet your needs - it met ours. We had a tremendous time!
