Description of the Massanutten vacation home rental
Come make your Vacation Memories with us in the Shenandoah Valley. This gorgeous, luxury home is located directly on the Shenandoah River. Once you arrive you will not want to leave this beautiful serene centrally located hot spot, which offers all the first class amenities you will ever want. Kick back, relax while enjoying the deck with rockers and the hot tub which gives you tremendous views of the Blue Ridge Mountains as well as the River.
Feeling Adventurous ~ We offer free use of the canoe, two kayaks and inner tubes. Bring your fishing poles and land yourself some bass, crappie, catfish or sunperch. Also if you have a boat or jet ski, you may dock them right in front of the home during your stay.
End your day with a steak or seafood on the grill. While sounds of the river and the breath taking mountain views soothes you, roast some marshmallows or smores around the campfire. Take in the beautiful sunsets with the geese and ducks flying in for the evening.

A great long weekend

The house is beautifully restored and furnished. Even though it rained everyday we were there, the overhang on the front deck provided enough shelter that the chairs stayed dry and we were able to sit out and enjoy the beautiful river view. The house was very comfortable; we enjoyed the kayaks and fishing right off the deck. One word of warning - if you use a navigation system to get there you''ll be told "you've arrived" long before you see the house:-) You actually have to keep driving through a park like setting before you get to the end of the road and the house itself. Otherwise, very easy to find.

Great house on the River!

We had a wonderful vacation at the Exquisite River Paradise. The house is charming, clean and has wonderful views of the river. We enjoyed fishing, canoeing, and the hottub once is got too cold. We also loved that we could bring our dog. She had a great time watching the ducks. The kids want to go back in the Summer!

This was the perfect place for a family vacation. The house is wonderful - very clean and well kept. The view of the river and mountains is magnificent.. We took our fishing boat and the guys were in heaven! Even our dog loved it! Would highly recommend.

Much needed trip

The home was absolutely beautiful and perfect for all our needs. We loved relaxing together and the kids had so much fun even though the one full day we had there was windy and cold, the fire pit and hot tub helped make their and our adult time so much fun. It was too short of a trip, we didn't want to leave. Would love to come back.

BEAUTIFUL HOME IN PERFECT SETTING

We were at this property for Thanksgiving and had a truly wonderful weekend...The house is gorgeous and has everything you could ever want..Fire pit, hot tub, great kitchen for cooking, comfortable rooms and beautiful views. The property owner was super nice and responsive to any questions we had and made sure everything was perfect for our visit. We are DEFINITELY coming back here and plan to tell our friends who are looking for a truly exquisite river paradise.

This home is amazing. Beautiful and has so much to offer. Owners are fantasic and have so many amenites in the home. Deck is beautiful and overlooking the River. Every night we sat out there for hours enjoying nature and the River while grilling dinner. Relaxing, quiet time. The home is close to many cities making it a vacation full of exploring! We had a wonderful time at A Exquisite River Paradise so much so we are already planning our vacation for next year. It was beautiful, peaceful and had the most gorgeous views! We loved every minute from jumping off the docks to swim, taking the canoe out as often as possible or sitting in the hot tub at night to relax and actually being able to see the stars! Best Time Ever in The Shenandoah Valley!

As we pulled up to the wonderful white house with blue shudders, just like the picture, we at that moment had a great feeling about the place and the trip in general. As soon as we opened the front door, we were impressed with how wonderful the house was from the wonderful kitchen to the great bathroom upstairs. Another great feature about this house is that almost anywhere you are, you can get a view of the river!After settling in and going to the grocery store, and eating dinner, we confirmed all our plans for the week as we sat around the comfortable livingroom. So,it was relaxing and boating on the river for Monday, a 3.6 hike for Tuesday, just hanging out and doing what we want on Wednesday; it was fun to barbecue and eat out on the porch. Luray Caverns was the plan for Wednesday and another hike of 8.6 miles on Thursday. Incredible water falls and swimming holes that day! Horseback riding on Friday morning. That was really fun! More time on the river for the remaining day. The feature of simply walking down to the dock was a real hit with our group! Then of course the day we did not discuss too much... Saturday, the departure day. Fabulous trip and we already booked next year! Thank you, Thank you.

Thank you for a great weekend. Special thanks to the property Owner for allowing a shorter stay as well. The property and its' grounds were very clean and organized. The Allstar Lodging staff preparations and special requests were handled very well. All in all we had a great time and plan to revisit the property in the Summer.
