Area Information
Massanutten resort has a multitude of activities to enjoy all year long. Within a five minute drive or less of Cliffhanger you can enjoy: two eighteen hole golf courses, downhill skiing, snow/grass tubing, miniature golf, go karts, buggy dome, zip lines, frisbee golf, horseback riding, stocked fishing ponds, hiking trails, and a indoor/outdoor waterpark!
In the area enjoy national parks such as Skyline Drive, Shenandoah River (tubing/kayaking/canoeing/fishing), local vineyards, caverns, and historic landmarks of the Shenandoah valley. Although Cliffhanger provides a very private setting, you are less than 20 minutes from downtown Harrisonburg, and James Madison University.
