Description of the Mattituck vacation home rental

This is a newly renovated waterfront house in Mattituck with breathtaking views of Lupton's Point Creek out to Peconic Bay and a lovely landscaped yard. The dock is great for sitting and watching the sunset or jumping off to take a quick dip. This house has everything that you will need. The first floor has two bedrooms, a full bathroom, living room, dining area, fireplace, sun room and a kitchen. The kitchen has new appliances and a beautiful copper countertop. The second floor is a large loft style bedroom with full bathroom and a sitting area. Front loading HE washer & dryer. This house is fully furnished including a sleeper sofa in the living room. This rental includes all of your linens, flat screen televisions, DVD player, stereo, WIFI, telephone, lawn furniture, beach chairs, beach towels, coolers, barbecue grill and kayaks. It truly has everything you will need for a fantastic getaway. Sleeps 6-8.

This house has a detached three car garage and additional property directly across the street for extra parking, if needed.

Mattituck is easily accessible to New York City by the LIRR or Hampton Jitney bus company.

Everything we could need was there and the house was very comfortable. The house is on a beautiful inlet and was just as it was described. We appreciate that our deposit was returned without delay. Highly recommended.

This house has everything you need...

My family and I stayed at the Duck Cottage for the Labor Day weekend. The house looks as though it was recently renovated. There was plenty of space for all and the amenities were fantastic. Our group was 5 adults - but there were enough beds for 4 couples to sleep comfortably. The setting in the back yard is just perfect. There are two picnic tables (enough room to sit 12) and two Adirondack style chairs with a little table between the them that are setup to overlook a pretty inlet with a pier. There is a Weber grill that we used to cook burgers and dogs and a brick grill with a chimney(uncovered) that we used to grill corn at the same time...perfect for BBQing! Also, the house came with a two person kayak which made for great exercise after cooking. It is a short row from the pier out into the Mattituck bay.
