We were scheduled to arrive on Feb 2, 2008 and were informed on January 23, 2008 that the condo was unavailable as the owner had not closed on the property nor has it been furnished. The owner was aware of problems however failed to notify us. This condo rental was paid in full for five weeks and the original downpayment made on April 5, 2007 under a signed rental agreement issued by Diamond Real Estate Marketing in Pico Rivera, CA. Maria Munguia is the owner and the person we dealt with throughout this process. We had numerous conversations complying with her requests. We were asked for final payment by December 6, 2007. Ms Munguia was well aware that the building was not completed nor had she furnished the condo we were to occupy. After numerous phone calls we had Ms Munguia transfer our payment back to our bank account. Please be aware before you book this condo that you will actually have a place to vacation. Let our disappointment be your lesson. RENTER BEWARE!!!!
