This is one of the best, unique and traditional tennis clubs in the northwest of Mexico.

The furnished apartments of the Gaviotas Racquet Club, which come with tennis courts, swimming pool and childrens pool, are located in the Golden Zone of Mazatlán, three blocks from the BEST BEACHES, and from Camaron Sabalo Avenue, the main tourist area in the city, where you can find the best restaurants, commercial centers, discos, travel agencys, beauty salons, boutiques and all the necessary services for your enjoyment and comfort.

Includes security, maid service, use of the tennis courts, sun heated swimming pool, green areas, parking lot.

The Unit is on the top floor (3rd floor) which makes for nice ocean breezes in the afternoon. Windows open and overlook the tennis courts and towards the ocean. The other side by the kitchen overlooks the town and cathedral and has a deck for sunbathing or evening dining and morning coffee.

Gaviotas Racquet Club, in the heart of the Golden Zone offers 3 clay courts and 3 hard courts. The courts are open from 7 am to 7 pm. Lessons are available from the Tennis pro.

• Deposits: 1/2 the total amount of your stay. $500 non-refundable the remaining money is refundable up to 1 month before your stay.
   
• Other Fees: The maid is covered in the rent, however a tip is the usual custom and is expected. I usually leave 50 pesos (a little over $4 usd) each time she visits. Also if you have her do you laundry you will need to pay her for the laundry and her time. (I gave her $20 usd for our families laundry (there are 5 of us). I you want to do your own there is a laundromat within walking distance.

I really like this place, it was great for me. There were a couple of minor things about this apartment that need adjustment, but over all I enjoyed my stay. I would stay here again if the room was availble.

This is a great location even if you don't play tennis, and is very popular with regular snowbirds. Staff and other residents are friendly. the rental unit is not quite as shown in the photos, and is sparsely furnished. Several appliances were not available and the microwave didn't work. Owner promises to correct the shortcomings. The location is three blocks from beach access, which means there is no traffic noise, yet a short walk to the action. Other units are available at the Raquet Club, but difficult to rent because of repeat bookings. I will go back next year, if this rental unit is improved, and available.
