we arrived at 3 am to find the dirtiest place on earth we slept there for 3 hrs and left the owner said he had just been there preparing the house for our stay there was no water no cable no wifi as we where told there would be the place had bugs hardly any lights worked the doors to the balcony and patio would not open I had to totally change my vacation plans due to the unsavory condition of this house

My overall experience was a 0 (gave it a 1 star so that I could submit my review of this dump). The house was not ready when we arrived nor was the manager around to gives us keys or show us the house. We went into town while the house was being cleaned (the cleaning job was horible, my 5 year old grandaughter could do a better job). When the house was available for us, there was sand in the kitchen sink, ants on counter tops,had to spray often and could not get rid of them. The house was nothing of the picture that was painted to us over the phone or on the internet). It is very unkept, I wouldn't want my dog to stay at that house. It stated there was a pool ( one of the reasons we rented the house), well there is one, but it is EMPTY, and we were never told that. There wasn't a lock on the door facing the beach, we had to use a wine opener to look door from inside, the door could not be locked from the outside.. The sliding glass door was so old and not easy to slide open, it is very rusted and the rollers don't work. We could not open door to balcony of master bedroom, as they were so rusted and no key provided. It is not a SAFE, or HEALTHY place to stay at (some of our belongings were stolen including our passports). The owner should be ashamed to be renting out this house (if you want to call it a house). The foundation is about ready fall down ( screen doors, locks are very rusted, mildew in house). We were provided three keys to the house of which only one key unlocked one door. The other doors in house either could not be unlocked or there was no lock on the doors. Water running in bathroom faucet all day, as it could not be shut off. It is a VERY DIRTY AND UNHEALTHY PLACE. The property should not be listed for anyone to rent. VERY DISAPPOINTED RENTERS, we could not stay in this house, rented another place in town.

We sent this guy two deposits and were told when we left in March that he would send our deposit back two months later!!! Here it is June now and we still have not received our deposit! We did nothing to justify him keeping our money. The house was left in the same condition as when we arrived. We even paid for a housekeeper to come in and clean towards the end of our stay. This house is in a great location, but is old, run-down and not very well cared for. It was not up to our standards of clean, which we have stayed in a lot of places in Mexico , so are expectations were not that high. Moldy shower curtains, corroded sinks and lots of clutter. The laundry room smelled like something died in there a long time ago!!! On the plus side, the community pool is well kept, but it was not worth dealing with a shady landlord who is yet to give us our deposit back!

The home was lovely, had everything we needed. The owner was great to work with. Location was great. Quiet beach front house. Anyone wanting a quiet get away would love this spot. I was sad to leave!
