2 bdrm - 1-1/2 bath. Sleeps 6 with a fold-down couch. FULLY furnished. Covered back porch, fenced yard, BBQ. February temps in the high 40's & 50's.

SO MANY things to do - ALL year long! Steelhead, Salmon fishing, rafting, hiking the Seven Devils Mountains, biking, hunting of all kinds, sightseeing from the River!!. LOTS of Western History here.
Jet Boat into the roadless Back Country and tour old homesteads and mines.
Many of the outfitters in Riggins furnish fishing and tours on the Snake River in Hells Canyon.

Area Description
Riggins in Northwest Central Idaho with a population of 530 is a small community with a lot to offer in addition to being the Whitewater Capital of Idaho. Riggins enjoys mild winters and early springs due to it's relatively low elevation of 1,800 ft. Summer temperatures range from 70 to 105 degrees and winter lows are from 10 to 35 degrees. It is nestled in the Salmon River Canyon at the confluence of the Little and Main Salmon Rivers. The nearest major airport is Boise, which is a beautiful 2-3hour drive to the South.
Just west of Riggins, lies Hells Canyon (the deepest canyon in North America) and the Snake River. To the East are the Gospel Hump and Frank Church Wilderness areas. In the summer months, enjoy whitewater rafting, hiking, Salmon fishing, jet boating, kayaking, hiking, hunting and mountain biking. Cooler weather brings Steelhead fishing, and snowmobiling and Nordic skiing nearby. Brundage Mountain Ski Resort is just 45 miles to the south. Opportunities are virtually limitless!
Annual special events include the Salmon River Jet Boating in April, the Riggins Rodeo in May, Hot Summer Nights - a 50's and 60's celebration in July and the Old Time Fiddlers Jamboree in October.
Farmer's Market every Thursday during the Summer.
There is some kind of Festivities going on each month, from April to September.
