Description of the McGregor vacation home rental

A 3,000 sq. ft. property with 2 buildings on 8 acres with an adjacent lake lot with 200 feet of lakes shore with use of a multi-dock system. This home does not provide view of lake from home. However, it does include 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, Jacuzzi jetted tub, small outdoor hot tub, grand foyer entrance, vaulted living room with gas fireplace, floor to ceiling kitchen cabinets, refrigerator-freezer with ice maker, electric range, microwave, dishwasher, laundry and many other appliances. Multiple deck and patio levels provide complete day light options and safe walkways for viewing wildlife. The estate includes a sound-system, secure gated entrance with remote opener, many in-home entertainment options. Property is for sale for $600K plus improvements to date. Rent with the option to purchase.

Note: This home requires a $2000 security deposit.

$1500 for groups under 6 occupants (Must arrive and depart Monday through Friday.)

Local golf courses, restaurants, music halls and area casinos provided alternate forms of entertainment nearby. This is a pet free and non-smoking home.

• Deposits: $2,000.00 refundable security deposit. Non refundable if canceled less than 45 days in advance of booking. However, may be used toward a re booking. The full deposit of $2000, rent, a valid drivers license, and a certificate of such insurance is required prior to arrival. Proof of insurance is required that provides public liability, protects all personal property and names the Owner and Wild Oak Association as an additional insured. This is attainable from your insurance agent.
   
• Other Fees: $50 hourly for any unfinished cleaning or repairs. $3000 weekly for groups exceeding 10 occupants. $500 additional for any holiday booking. Receive a Free Winter Weekend with any Summer Booking of $2,500 or more.

We had a great time at this vacation home. Tucked back in the woods, a short walking distance from the lake, it was completely relaxing and peaceful. There is a great restaurant/bar located 10 min away at Big Sandy Resort that we loved. Also 10 min away is the Minnesota National Golf Course. It is a beautiful course and well worth the $50-60 for 18 holes and half of a cart. Jeff (the owner of house) was completely helpful in planning our trip and letting us know what to do and see, from the golf to the resort, to the best fishing holes! We had a pontoon for a couple of days and I would definitely recommend that. The house is large enough for 2-3 couples to have some privacy and is very well kept. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway with a short drive to other entertainment, this is definitely a great place to stay and we look forward to going back soon!
