We enjoyed a second christmas with our daughter,son-in-law and grandchildren. We rented the home bringing with us our other 2 grown children, grandma and our yorkies. The home was spacious enough for all of us. The livingroom was very comfortable with plenty of seating and enough room to spread out. Susan even had a Christmas tree in place for our arrival. Having stayed at many VRBO in the past this one was a little odd in the fact that there was food in the fridge and clothes in a closet as if someone lives there however, the house is very clean. The microwave didn't work which was something one counts on with 2 small children, we were able to work around it. All in all it was a wonderful stay, the town of Leiper's Fork is cute but the shopping is expensive and Franlin another adorable little town is just minutes away. I wish we had a few more days to visit and shop but all good things must come to an end. The other mention I must make is that, there is not a contract and communication is lacking. I was nervous right up until we walk through the door about whether it was a scam or not. It's not, the home is ready, waiting and is very pretty inside, the pictures do not give it justice. Susan thank you for opening up your beautiful home, we truly did have a wonderful time.
My family and I stayed in this lovely home when my husband took a job transfer to Memphis. The house was very private, clean, nicely furnished, and well-equipped. It sure beat staying in the cramped executive lodging apartments we had been staying in. The pool table in the sun room was a hit with the kids and provided hours of enjoyment. We also really liked the location and area. The house was so convenient to everything and in a very nice, safe neighborhood. My kids love to bike ride and they enjoyed biking through the park-like neighborhoods of expensive homes that were nearby and within walking distance. We even saw deer one evening while biking! We also enjoyed being so near to Shelby Farms with their excellent biking trails and access to the Green Line biking trail that goes all the way to downtown Memphis. The owners were very pleasant and accommodating. Thanks for helping to make a difficult transition a lot easier! R.L. (relocating from Florida)
