Private Pool and Unrestricted Beach Views

Sunset House is a two story residence with the upstairs, downstairs or both levels available for rentals. The address is 108 Hwy 98, Mexico Beach. (Use 102 2nd St. for map programs.) Enjoy the beach and when you're tired of the saltwater, go swimming in the private backyard pool. Enjoy the relaxed feel of Florida away from the hustle and bustle of traffic and crowds. This is the way a vacation is supposed to be. Sunset House has an unobstructed view of the Gulf and is steps away from the most beautiful sugar sand beach anywhere. The beach is very safe for families. There is no undertow due to being sheltered by the St. Joseph Peninsula and an offshore sandbar.

The upstairs unit has 2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths and has just been completely renovatedincluding a large deck to watch the beautiful sunsets nightly. The huge deck is furnished with Adirondack chairs and a patio table with chairs and a gas BBQ grill. There's a queen bed in the master bedroom and 2 queen beds in the 2nd bedroom.

The downstairs unit has 2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. There is a screened patio in the front and an open patio on the side which leads back to the pool area. The unit has a gas BBQ grill. There is a queen bed and a single trundle bed in the master bedroom and a double bed in the 2nd bedroom.

Both units have a television in the living room. Bed and bath linens are provided. Full kitchen with ice-maker in the refrigerator, stove and oven range, microwave and toaster. Fully stocked kitchen with pots and pans, silverware and utensils. Both units have a single car garage with a garage door opener that provides access to a common laundry area. The units are non-smoking. Please restrict smoking to outside areas. Pets up to 25 pounds are allowed.

Mexico Beach is a small town the way Florida use to be. Fishing, boating and soaking up the sun are favorite activities here. There are no red lights and it is a very relaxed place. Stay here away from the crowds and hassles.

There are some great shops and restaurants in Mexico Beach and a great fresh seafood store. Grab some shrimp caught that morning and grill them up that evening. There is a small grocery store here for those last minute items.

Port St Joe is only 15 minutes away and has more shopping and restaurants. There is also a larger grocery store here and a CVS pharmacy.

Looking out from the deck, you can see the tip of St Joe Wilderness Preserve. This is attached to St Joe Peninsula State Park. This is a great location to head to for the day.

If you feel the need, you can slip away for a day and hit the activities in Panama City Beach which is 40 minutes away. The mall in Panama City is 30 minutes away. Head the other way and go shopping for antiques and other items in the great shops in Apalachicola only 30 minutes away.
