Rent a bike, golf cart, or walk an easy 7 blocks to the white sands of the Gulf of Mexico.
Park your vehicle at the boardwalk area. There are many entrances to the beach.
Bring your boat for easy let-ins; rent a boat at Port St Joe Marina 10 minutes from Mexico Beach.
Two driveways at home.

Area Information

Home is located in the small beach town of Mexico Beach, Florida. Shopping, restaurants on the beach, fishing, water rentals, marina, and 30 minutes to the oyster capital, Appalachicola, and 40 minutes to the Panama City Airport.

Nice quiet area close to beach

Spent a month here . House was as described. All the amenities. Owner great to deal with. Less than 5 minute walk to beautiful beach. Close to other beaches in area. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Would recommend to friends if they were interested in vacationing this part of Florida.

We will be back

We stayed in this wonderful home from mid Feb thru mid March. The home was clean, well decorated and had just about everything you can need. The landscaping was beautiful and the fenced yard was enjoyed by our dogs. Though it was still a little cool while we were there my husband still enjoyed the pool. Mexico Beach is a quiet place with friendly people. The Gulf is beautiful and we walked it often both in the morning and at sunset. Karmalete was a joy to work with and readily available to answer our questions. We will be returning for two month next years so that must speak to the fact that we really liked her place.

A True Oasis

This home is truly an Oasis. We stayed here for a long weekend with our two young boys and the house is very family friendly. The floorplan is so open, yet very cozy and private enough for 2-3 couples with bedrooms on opposite sides of the house. We cooked breakfast several mornings and the kitchen is well equipped. The backyard is the perfect place for an evening cocktail by the lit swimming pool....the sky was clear enough to see some wonderful stars! The house is exceptionally clean...love, love, love that! We really enjoyed the proximity to the beach...just a short walk. We were also able to walk to Tucans, which we loved just as much as the kids. The owner was really easy to do business with which we really appreciate (providing great directions to local shops, grocery, etc and offering easy check in/out instructions). We will certainly enjoy another stay at the Oasis...hopefully sooner rather than later.
