Description of the Miami Beach vacation apartment rental

Beautiful Two Bedroom, Two Bath (sleeps six) 1,000 sq. foot apartment in the exclusive Alexander Hotel at 5225 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach.

I love this apartment and I visit it at least five times a year with my family (four kids)or just with my wife.

The Hotel has two pools, waterfalls, two jacuzzis, valet parking, a full time concierge, Room Service, and many other amenities.
Apartment has a full kitchen that is stocked with service for four and has every appliance, including a toaster & coffee maker.

This really is the best of both worlds with the room to relax of an apartment and all of the benefits of a hotel.

The apartment is very nice and the same size as most of the other apartments in the building, the only drawback is that it is on a lower floor and the view is not as good as some others. For this reason, my apartment is almost always Available for much less than any other at the Alexander.

Area Description

The Building is on the beach between South Beach and North Beach. South Beach is very close. Bal Harbour, Lincoln Road, and much more shopping is also very close.

Shula's Steakhouse is located in the building, as well as a small store for light groceries, drinks, snacks, books, etc.
There is a playground for children. Pool Chairs and Towels are Free. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available at the beach for a small fee that can be charged to your room. There is bar/restaurant at the pool for drinks or light meals and everything can get charged to the room and taken off your credit card when you check out.

Vacation Rental Policies

Payment Options: Cashier's Check, Mastercard, Money Order, PayPal, Personal Check, Visa
Check In: 4 p.m.
Check Out: 12 p.m.
Deposits: If you are booking more than 60 days in advance, I will accept a 50% deposit to hold the room, with the balance due 45 days before check in. If the reservation is less than 60 days in advance, payment in full is required.
Other Fees: $85 one-time fee for cleanup, paid to the hotel when you check out.

The apartment was large,very clean and equiped with everything needed. The beds were comfortable! The beach was perfect! The Alexander Hotel staff were friendly and went out of their way to provide excellent service. I would definitely recommend the Hotel and especially this apartment.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Alexander Hotel for one week in July 2009. We rented a privately owned two bedroom suite (#517) for an affordable price. For the dollar, we received a spacious, clean, modern and comfortable suite with all right amenities. The hotel service was exceptional like a 5-star hotel. Noteworthy to mention is the concierge staff and valet staff, who were extremely helpful. The Hotel is older, but maintained very well and provides for a classy stay. It has two nice pools, which were not overcrowded. The hotel is right on a private section of the beach. Canopies and chairs can be rented. The beach was absolutely beautiful. Again just an absolutely wonderful stay at The Alexander Hotel - perfect stay! Many many thanks to Mr. Pinter, the owner of bedroom suite #517, and to the staff of The Alexander Hotel.

This is a really great large 2 bedroom apartment! There is a private bathroom in the master bedroom, and also has a full kitchen area. It is located right on the beach! There is no better location in Miami!! The Hotel is really firts class! The pool is amazing with a great waterfall in it!! I stayed in it for a week and it was one of th best vacations I have taken. I would highly recomend this apartment to any one!

This is a home away from home with everything you need to compliment. Owners had paid attention to many small details i. We had 3 adults and two children, and everyone felt they had there own space. Everything you will need is in the condo. All you will need is to go to the local grocery store where steps away, and stock up your refrigerator. This place is absolutely beautiful and we would definitely go back again!

My family and I have rented this apartment several times and will be renting it again in the future. The building is beautiful and having a top notch steakhouse on site is convenient. All of the amenities, common areas, the gym and pools are clean and well kept. The pools with waterfall are beautiful as is the outside pool bar/grill. We love that the beach access is right next to the pool. The apartment itself is a large VERY nice unit, nicely furnished and very well maintained. I absolutely love this apartment and I highly recommend it.
