Various tourist information outlets are dotted around the city, with the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce on Meridian Avenue being well worth a visit. Other tourism centers of note include the Art Deco Welcome Center on Ocean Drive, and the Greater Miami and Beaches Convention and Visitors Bureau, which has branches located on Brickwell Avenue, Coconut Grove, at the Snapper Creek Plaza and next to Sunny Isles Beach.
Accommodation in South Florida tends to be a little expensive, and Miami hotels are certainly no exception to this. Beachfront hotels understandably fetch a premium rate, although holidaymakers can enjoy considerable savings by simply staying a few blocks back from the beach. This is one of the many reasons why short term rentals have become so popular with visitors to Miami and its beaches. Miami is small enough that you can stay just about anywhere without feeling isolated, although for many, the beach serves as an ideal base for nightlife, dining out and touring the city.

I wouldn't even give this place a star, I wouldn't give it anything!!! This place ruined the first part of our vacation. If you're interested in sleeping with fleas, roaches and centipedes, then stay here. Absolutely disgusted with this place as well as the lack of professionalism. We noticed fleas the first night and contacted the guy who works for the owner, who takes forever to get back to you. We bought bug spray and had a sleepless first night because we were too busy wondering about what crawling bugs we'd wake up next to. Our second day after multiple attempts of trying to contact this guy again, they sent out pest control and had the place cleaned. While this was happening, we had to stay out of the apartment for at least 2 hours. We STILL saw bugs after this was done and wanted our money back so we could stay somewhere else. Again after multiple attempts of contacting this guy, we were always waiting on a response. We wanted our money back to stay somewhere else- mind you it was a holiday weekend and places jacked up the prices as well as being fully booked. We spent an entire day looking for reasonable hotels or somewhere just to stay- this was Friday and by this time we stayed there for 3 days. We didn't even want to sit on any of the furniture. We ended up finding a place for the rest of our trip which price wise equaled close to what we were paying for this nasty apartment. On Monday we found out we were only receiving not even half of what we paid to stay there, so needless to say we are spending more money!!! We went to drop the key off, which is now out of our way since we're staying somewhere else, and noticed they place was clean but still found bugs!!! The first half of our trip was spent worrying about taking home bugs with us and we couldn't even enjoy ourselves. The lack of professionalism is really appalling and I would never book any place with them ever, ever again. Because of the lack of responses, who knows if we'll get our money back.

This does not even deserve 1 star. There were roaches and fleas in the apartment. We arrived on July 2 and the same day I called to inform them that their were fleas. It took forever for someone to get back to me. When I went to turn the air on to my surprise there were roaches crawling on the wall. Contacted them again needless to say I didn't hear back from them until the middle if the day and that was because I contined to message them to see what was going on. So then "pest control" came and sprayed at 3pm our second day there. We couldnt get into the apartment until around 7 pm so there goes our second day on vacation. I informed Ron that if the roaches were not gone we would like our money back because that is absolutely disgusting. We don't live with roaches I will be damned if I was going to pay $939 to stay with roaches.. After they came we didn't notice any bugs, but the following day what do you know...roaches again. So I contacted them again, you would think it would have been the other way around. So, I told Ron that there were still roaches in the place and we want a refund. Yeah I got no response. We ended up not being able to find another place to stay that night because now it was the 4th of July and all the hotels were booked. So, on July 5th we were able to find another Hotel which was 24 blocks further up( north beach). During this whole time I contacted "Ron" to inform him what was going on, I barely got a response. Oh and Carlos, yeah very unprofessional. Emailed him about this issue and I never received a response. Oh and the best part they are liars. We went to bring the key back on Monday night went into the apartment and saw more roaches. They told the travel company that there were no roaches in the apartment after pest control came. All lies, I have picture to prove there were roaches after pest control come. They said they went on Saturday to the apartment and there were no roaches, but the funny thing was that Ron asked me if we stayed in the apartment the whole time. So if they went there they would have noticed that our luggage was not there. Oh and for our refund...$450 which is nothing considering that we paid $939 and we were only there 3 days out of 7 and paid $800 to stay in another hotel. Oh and let's not forget all the food we had to throw out and the taxi rides because we were so far away. So all and all I suggest that no one ever stay in this apartment unless you want to deal with unprofessional people and roaches
