Reviews for this vacation condo rental in Miami Beach, Florida

Staff was excellent. Condo has a great view and was as represented. It could use some modernization (e.g.no heat or garbage disposal) but the condition of everything in unit was very nice. It is directly on the beach with two nice pools.

Great Value! Great find!!

5 STARS!! - Our vacation experience could not have been better and a large part of it was due to this condo. This condo was an outstanding value in several areas: 1) Location: What’s true in real estate is true with vacation rentals – location is paramount. This condo is located in the heart of Miami Beach and offers close proximity to everything important. It sits on the beach, so beach access is no problem; but it’s also close to all the great restaurants, shopping, and highways that you would want to access during your vacation. 2) The Condo: The Condo itself feels new and comfortable. The refrigerator, stove, and microwave coupled with plenty of counter space allowed us to cook our own meals which saved us a bundle on food. Also – the ocean view from the balcony is outstanding. I took a snapshot and now use it as my computer wallpaper. 3) Amenities: This condo offers two pools (one of which is heated), a pool bar, sauna/gym/Jacuzzi, and Shulas-a world class restaurant which serves some of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Even the housekeeping conveniences like trash and laundry are right there down the hallway a few steps. There is also a business center where you can send and receive faxes, emails, or even physical packages. I constantly felt like I had everything I needed. 4) The Business Transaction: The owner of the Condo was great to work with and extremely helpful in providing us anything we needed in order to make our stay enjoyable. He conducts business with a high degree of integrity and is very throughout the whole process. 5) Overall Experience: The staff at the building is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the Miami Metro area. Any time we needed directions or recommendations regarding places to go or things to see the staff helped us immediately. I give this condo my highest recommendation possible and would encourage families or singles to consider staying here during their vacation. It was a superior value for

Never seen anything so bad....

words can not express the condition of this apartment. i really dont know where to begin. the kitchen cabinets were so caked with dirt & grease you didnt want to touch them. the 2nd bath was so old, the walls had been repaired but not finished, mold in the shower & on the vents. th coffee pot and toaster were older then i am. there was no dish soap or coffee fiters or even extra trash bags to remove trash. once the tiny filthy pail was full you didnt have another bag to replace. i have rented condo before and it is in the owners best interest to supply simple things like trash bags to maintain a clean space. there is view from the condo but since the windows havent been cleaned in months you cant see it. also all curtains couldnt be opened and closed because they were broken and hanging off the rods. then there is the hotel itself. Very very low end, not at all the way it is shown on the website. the towels at the pool were so cheap old and stained i couldnt believe that this is what they were giving hotel guests. all in all, this is absolutely the worst place i have ever stayed at and i have traveled around the world. biggest mistake ever!!

Condo was nicely updated and view was awesome. We could see Ocean and Inter-coastal from our balcony. Property manager was very helpful in some minor issues and went out of her way to make us happy. It was a pleasure to work with her. Location was very good and valet service was big plus for bringing our heavy bags in and out. They even carried our grocery bags up! We all enjoyed the Wi-Fi access. Pools were nice but get to the chairs early as the sun goes behind the buildings a little earlier than we would have liked. Those spots go early at the pools. All it all, nice place and the 5 of us were very comfortable in this spacious unit, #1105.

The apartment was very clean when we entered, which was terrific. There were only 4 large towels, so we had to call the owner for more, which he provided. The blankets on the bed had some holes in them. The bathrooms could use some updating.
Thanksgiving in Miami Beach
November 29, 2009
Driving to Miami Beach and stepping into the Alexander Hotel was like entering a time warp to 1950...not a bad thing at all as the condo owners and staff have done well to keep the facility in good shape. Good amenities (pools, Shula's, 24/7 valet, etc...), clean and well situated right on the beach. The condo owner was very responsive to a couple of simple initial requests. Overall, a great experience and a great Thanksgiving!
Needs some work

great location and comfortable size apt. BUT the beds were hard as a rock the bathroom are in need of some ASAP remodeling, the towels were scarce and dingy. And the kitchen was very lightly supplied. Not to mention in the dishwasher there were dirty dishes. You cannot request towels because privately owned. Someone needs to take a look at this unit and make some much needed adjustments.
Could use some more maintenance
March 4, 2009
Overall, the condition of the condo was fair. The linens and towels were clean and plentiful, and the kitchen was tidy. However, the floors could have been swept better (sand was underfoot just about everywhere), and the walls and ceiling near one bedroom needed work (scraping, sanding, painting), possibly from previous water damage. Also, the shower in the master bathroom didn't divert water from the tub to the overhead shower completely. And regrouting would improve both bathrooms. For the price, we would have wanted a better maintained property, but it wasn't bad. Management was easy to deal with ... professional throughout.
