Heavenly- Alexander Hotel

Alexander hotel was everything and anything we were looking for. It's a not so big hotel, so there aren't that many people crowding the resorts back yard beach. It has plenty of pool space and very comfortable family atmoshphere. The hotel's location is ideal, close enough to all the attractions but far away enough from all of the mayhem. The price for our stay was affordable for an average family. We didn't eat at the hotel because it was a little pricy but we ate very comfortably in our condo and cooked all we wanted! The parking vallet was awesome and patient. This was our first stay at Alexander Hotel, and I assure you it will not be the last. Ideal for a family get away.

Mi marido corrio la Marathon de Miami y viajamos en familia. El departamento fue perfecto, la ubicación ideal (accesible y cerca a todo) es muy limpio, silencioso y bien mantenido. Tengo 3 niñas: 7 años, 5 años y 10meses. Dos dormitorios con su propio baño nos dio comodidad y espacio necesario, además la bebé podía dormir su siesta tranquilamente en la cuna del dormitorio principal. Todos disfrutamos de la hermosa playa y la comodidad de las piscinas y el hot tub. Ana fue muy cumplida en su trato, una excelente propietaria. Sin duda en el futuro nos quedaremos en su acogedor y cómodo departamento. Felicidades.

Enjoyed the condo we stayed at, very spacious. Left an umbrella for the use of any futher guests. If you plan on doing beach time you will need chairs. The Alexander Hotel was great, the pools and grounds are extremely nice and very clean. Would recommend to anyone.

Having spent 3 days here prior to a cruise, we were delighted to find all our expectations fulfilled. A clean welcoming apartment with everything we needed. The separated bedrooms made it feel like two hotel rooms (2couples). The grounds were lovely, especially the heated pool. The customer service received by owner Betty was greatly appreciated. The condo we stayed in was nice but needs some upgrades, especially with the bathrooms. More balcony furniture is needed and it would be nice to have extra linens instead of paying towel service to the hotel. Other condos I have stayed at had games, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. available for the renters so that would be nice. The 19% charge the hotel adds to all purchases is ridiculous and they lost alot of business from us at the bar and restaurant.

I recently took a weekend getaway with my husband and some friends. we were looking for something on the beach where we could vegge out during the day, and party by night. The condo was perfectly located for both. A beautiful view of the ocean from the balconies from both bedrooms and the living room, clean,convenient,beutifully decorated, and very spacious. The pool area is great,the bar&grill has the best pina coladas and cheese steak sandwiches ever,with a walkway out to the beach. We felt so at home with all of the luxuries of not being home.Definitely exceeded my expectations. Next time I'm taking my kids !!!

The Alexander Hotel was beautiful! Loved - the beach, the pool, the gym, the lobby, the staff & valets. Liked - the room (see lower for details), the gym (no elipticals). Didn't like - high cost of drinks/food, had to rent beach chairs & umbrella (although room had 2 beach lawn chairs and a small beach umbrella for use), view from balcony. The room was spacious and the bathrooms and kitchen were recently updated and were quite nice. On the surface eveything was nice but if you looked closer there was more that was due for updating (balcony doors & others). Our balcony faced north and overlooked a service alley and faced another building, so not the best view but there was a pleasant breeze off the ocean and you could see the ocean from the balcony. Overall, the experience at the Alexander Hotel was great and I would visit again and definately recommend to anyone looking to spend some time in the Miami/Miami Beach area! Keep in mind that a car is needed to get around this

If you are looking for a wild time, this is definitely not the place for you. But if you enjoy easy access to the beach, a great gym and two pools that are not overcrowded, you''ll enjoy this location. This particular unit was appropriately priced. it is clean and comfortable, and has thoughtful touches, like beach chairs and sand toys for kids. The concierge was very helpful. His restaurant recommendation was exactly what we were looking for. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

We had a great stay at this condo. Great location if you have a rental car or if you just want to relax at the pool or on the beach. The condo was as described online. Two adult couples stayed here and we were quite comfortable, however, the second bedroom with the twin beds didn't have much privacy. The curtains on the doors were sheer. The only other negative was there weren't many towels and no ironing board. Otherwise we were quite happy. Would definitely rent again!

Overall the condo was nice. We were looking for something more luxurious since we were traveling without kids. The rooms were spacious and the pictures online were accurate. the bathtub was old but the shower was new. Most of the doors need fixing and painting. I would consider going back with a family. It is not for a romantic getaway. The hotel is beautiful as well as the grounds. And they have a terrific spa on the 4th floor.

The unit was roomy and well furnished. The location was great. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The patio doors need to be replaced. The salt air makes them almost impossible to open & close. All in all, I would absolutely recommend this unit to anyone traveliing to Miami Beach.

Great condo suite!

Great new look to the Alexander the lagoon pools are very inviting. The condo has new renovated & remodeled bathrooms that we loved! Crisp & clean colors and decor plus very roomy. We just got back home but already have plans on returning for another stay! 6 guests in the condo suite with plenty of room. You can't beat the rental price and the owners were very accomodating.
