Great Stay

Marc was helpful and punctual. The place on arrival was extremely clean and overall a very nice apartment. The rental was less than a 5 minute walk from the nearest beach, which is very nice and much quieter than South Beach. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the apartment and would recommend it to anybody.

Miami Beach Condo

Our stay in this Miami Beach condo was nice. There are a few bus stops close by for those without a car and there also was a bike rental station close. If you plan to visit South Beach often, plan on your travel time being 30-45 minutes, including wait on the bus and bus ride. I would not suggest depending on taxis for travel in this area as it can be pricey. The beach was close by but the beaches are nicer farther south. There are a few good restaurants close by, our choice was Norman's. There was also a grocery store and pharmacy near the apartment, very convenient. The condo was nice, we enjoyed having two tvs. The shower and bathtub could use updating but met our needs. The bedroom was nice and the apartment was spacious for a one bedroom. Overall we were pleased with our stay in the condo.

Nice, comfortable place for two

We stayed for one week. Parking was always easy. Street parking surrounding the block almost always available, and a neighboring lot is free from 6pm-8am (metered during the day). The courtyard is nice and no problems with neighbors. The living room as a nice size plasma TV (maybe 40-inch or so), a full-size couch (never pulled it out), and a smaller love seat whose back folds down (but not really large enough or balanced to suit for sleeping). We used the smaller fold down as an ottoman and moved the coffee table. There's a nice-sized dining table with seating for 4 and a work desk. The kitchen is kind of tight but fine, with enough silverware, plates, glasses, bowls, etc. The bathroom is a nice size with a pretty sweet double shower head (one stationary and one hand-held). Bedroom is also a good size, but the bed is queen-size, not king (comfortable though!). There is a small plasma screen and a DVD player that can be used here or in the living room (easy to move). WiFi is sufficiently fast. The apartment is decorated pretty nicely on the whole. Beach is an easy block and a half walk. It's a perfectly nice section of Miami beach. You walk through a park/conservation area (North Shore Open Space Park) between Collins Ave. and the beach. A lot of families spend time there and barbecue. There's a walking/running path and fitness stations through the park that are pretty fun. Then there's a good walk/run/bike path just behind the beach that spans at least a couple miles. Maybe an 8-10 minutes car drive to South Beach and about the same to Hollywood Beach. The northernmost DecoBike station is maybe 3/4 mile or so south of the condo on Collins. These are rentable bikes with baskets that you access via automated stations that are very prevalent around South Beach and between. The bikes can be docked/swapped/returned at any station, no matter where the original was rented from. Pretty cool! Marc is a nice guy and a fine landlord.
