the house is as lovely as looks in the photos and if you're looking for a cozy classy place to spend a week, this place is a great one. the owners are very helpful and attentive and want you to have a good time in south beach- which isn't hard to do with everything so close by.

Close to everything!

This is a great place to stay and enjoy everything Miami Beach has to offer. Quick cab ride from the airport, easy walk to everything else: Lincoln Road, kayaking on the bay, the beach. Coma's bakery a few blocks up the road is not to be missed! Grab breakfast there and enjoy it at the house lounging on the patio. Beautiful, convenient, comfortable - I can't imagine staying anywehere else.

Luxury Living: Renting the good life

This is not your mother's vacation home! International hipsters have been skipping the doilies and the warmed-over rolls ob B&Bs altogether in favor of luxury house rentals. We thought wed check this one out. It looks more like the dream house you get to try out for a week. My family and I recently rented a gorgeous two-story Spanish-style house in South Beach, FL to escape the cold. No room service in villa rentals, but even better, you can walk to a nearby Argentine bakery and savor "medias lunas" in the house's sunny patio, which is adorned with a Mexican stone fountain. Our friends who were paying hundreds more at a nearby hotel were instantly converted when we invited them over to check it out. . . .We may have to compete with them for our next rental. Thanks for everything!

I've stayed at the Sueno Azul several times in the last few years, almost every time I go to Miami. Ive always had a blast. The owners are starting to seem like family, Ive felt very much at home-so much so, that I didn't want to leave! The house is very relaxing, great retreat from the hard life of vacationing in South Beach!

Reunion week with friends in paradise

February 8, 2005

Now that were all back to the frigid north, we wanted to say thanks for all your help. It was a pleasure dealing with you. The house was perfect for reuniting with our friends. Weve all been getting together every year for the last 10 years. This has been the best place by far! We especially loved hanging out in the patio by the fountain. Only thing missing is the BBQ grill, but all the restaurants close by meant we probably wouldnt have used it anyway. As a rule, we go somewhere different every year, but were seriously considering coming back to your lovely home again next year. Thanks again.

This is not your mother's bed-and-breakfast. International hipsters have been skipping the doilies and the warmed-over rolls altogether in favor of luxury house rentals. The new boutique hotel looks more like the dream house you get to try out for a week. And the best part? No old lady or her cat that you have to pretend to like. My family and I recently rented a gorgeous two-story Spanish colonial house in South Beach, Fla. No room service, but you can walk to the nearby Argentine bakery and savor "medias lunas" in the house's sunny patio, which is adorned with a Mexican stone fountain. Our friends who were paying hundreds more at the nearest hotel were instantly converted when we invited them over for a dinner party. . . .

I've stayed at the Sueno Azul several times in the last few years, and have always had a blast The owners seem like family, and I've felt very much at home-so much so, that I didn't want to leave! Luckily, the owners have almost adopted me, and told me that I may even be the godmother to their first born!!! (Hint, hint)
