Description of the Miami Beach vacation home rental

This 2,000 square foot freestanding home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood on the intercoastal waterway of Miami Beach.

The house is owned by Grace, an architect specializing in historic preservation, and was totally renovated in period Art Deco style including furniture from that period. Original details such as terrazzo floors and pastel-colored stucco walls have been retained.

A large living/family room is in the center of the house. The open plan leads to the yard with its mango tree - and beyond to the private dock and water.

The master bedroom suite features a bathroom with a large shower cabin, plus washer and dryer. Twe other bedroom has its own bathroom. There is an additional full size sofa-bed in the den.

The large eat-in kitchen features a view and French doors leading to the dining room. It is fully equipped with electric range, microwave, and dishwasher.

The yard is equipped with period patio furniture. Two TVs are included with cable. Safe parking.

A bus stop is steps from the house.

Area Information

It is a short five block walk to Atlantic Ocean North Beach, with its recently improved park and commercial center. Parkland, quiet walks, grocery shopping, and other amenities are also located within minutes, either walking or driving.

Within a 20 minute drive or bus ride are Miami's Deco paradise, the famous Lincoln Road shopping area, restaurants of every imaginable kind, nightclubs, and South Beach.

Another 20 minute drive in norther direc tionwill bring to the famous shops of Bal Harbour and Aventura.

If you are looking for a house to rent in the Miami Beach area, please do not hesitate to book Grace on the Water. With a Spectacular view if the bay and everything from food to sand only minutes... on foot away, this is the place to be. The owners of the house are courteous and respectful and the neighbors are the same. I stayed for a week during Memorial Day Weekend and it was just what my family and I needed to get away from the scene on South Beach. Fresh mangoes everyday made all of us feel as though we were in a tropical paradise. This place is gorgeous inside and out! The next time I come to Miami, I won't look any further than Grace on the Water! My stay was more than I expected and mire than I could have ever imagined!!!!! LOVED IT!!!!!

We`ve stayed in an other home, owned by Marian, because this one here was not available. All i want to say is that we had 2 very nice months in Marians Home which is located on a secured Isle in Miami Beach, 3 minutes by car from the ocean. The house was clean and fully equipped, friendly furnished and had a beautiful tropical backyard. The booking was easy and the owner responded all our emails very quick. We received our deposit before we went back to Europe. I can recommend this place to 100%

The place was beautiful and totally fit our needs as a family of 6 (3 couples). The back patio was great with the boardwalk next to the river. Very relaxing atmosphere off the busy street. The 2nd bathroom tub didn't drain but the owner took care of it right away when I called her. Overall, I would stay there again. Very nice renters and great experience.

Cozy home in quiet area close to everything

We stayed here for one week (4 adults, one child) and it was perfect! The location is incredible and we walked to many places. Close to beaches and other activities. It was lovely to sit in the backyard on the canal and bird watch. The owners are lovely and were very helpful to us. I recommend this house for anyone looking to get away yet be close to lots of activities.
