The apartment itself has spectacular views and a comfortable lay-out. The bathrooms and kitchen are modern and attractive with high-end appliances and fittings. The in-unit washer and dryer are wonderful to have. The kitchen, however, was not equipped for anyone who might want to cook: no cutting board, towels, serving bowls, salad bowl, sugar bowl, measuring cups and spoons. There were only 3 dinner forks, and the can opener didn't work. Also, no tea kettle. We wanted to sweep occasionally, but there was no broom. The area rug in the living area was stained and altogether very dirty. Maintenance is poor. Many overhead light bulbs were burned out, and it took several calls to the agent to get replacements. The agent did not install the replacements in the overhead cans. He just came by and dropped off a box of bulbs. But the main negative was the bed in the master suite. The king bed has an awful, saggy mattress that sags badly in the middle causing us to cling to the sides to avoid the valley in the center. There was no mattress pad (we had to buy our own) and the mattress was stained from some previous occupant. As much as we liked the apartment for its location, views and other pluses we would never rent it again with that awful bed. We didn't use the second bedroom, but that mattress also seemed like a soft back-killer. The swimming pool and spa were delightful, and the people working at them were very friendly and welcoming. So, a lovely place, poorly looked after and with a very bad bed.
