Description of the Miami vacation home rental

Luxurious, Lakefront Estate homes' entire Ground Floor Level is available for vacation rentals. Private entry, fully furnished, large 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, with Living Room. Wonderland for adults and children...lots to explore. All 3 large rooms open through french doors directly to resort styled pool, Bar, B-B-Q, patio, covered Terrace, gardens, and lakefront beyond. Full access to the extensive grounds with tropical gardens, lilly pond, tennis court, treehouse, children's playground, paddle boat for lake exploration, and complete privacy in the most serene environment. House & grounds are a sought after location for photo shoots. Full sized refrigerator, wet bar, range & oven, with coffee maker & microwave in Suite. DirecTV with HBO, & china, silver, linens included. Laundry available. Parking inside property. $1200/ week for 2, & $100/ person for 3rd person or more, plus tax (7%). Can sleep 7-8, with two sofa beds in Living Room, & futon in corridor, (but there is only 1 bathroom). Close to everything, 10 min. south of Miami Int. Airport; 15 min. east to S. Beach; 5 min. east to historic Coconut Grove; & 3 min. east to Coral Gables' best dining. Pamper yourself!!

Residential area of lakefront homes, totally private, with no motor activity on Lake. Central to the heart of Miami, yet a world away. Last property at the end of a dead-end street. 20 foot tall perimeter hedge surrounds the nearly 60,000sf property. Expansive lawn for games, lots of paths through tropical gardens. Covered loggias surround fountain courtyard adjacent to tennis court. Lovely to stroll day and night...or sit by the lake & pool. Breeze from Lake makes outdoor activities comfortable day and night. Nightly lighting turns the property into a private resort. Lots of wildlife and birds around the lake, turtles and iguanas can be spotted, and no alligators! We respect the wildlife, so there is no fishing. 4 Resident cats on property. Convenient to expressways, yet a world away in spirit.

Payment Options: Personal Check, PayPal
Other Fees: $1200/week for two Guests. For each additional Guest there is an additional charge of $100/week, or $20 per day. The property has hosted weddings, photo shoots and commercials. Please inquire regarding your specific event. 7% tax is required by law. Minimum 2 night rental for events. $4500 per month/4 weeks includes 4 people.

The setting is quite remarkable, and one of a kind. Whether used as a children's paradise, exploring the property, lake and treehouse, or as a luxurious retreat for adults. Central to Miami, and close to everything, with lots of shopping centers close by, and fine dining in Coral Gables, and beaches, from Miami Beach, to Key Biscayne to Matheson Hammock, all 3-15 miles away. We find that our Guests often opt to stay on the grounds, as they find the setting so appealing.

Perfect place to relax

We had a lovely time in Miami, in large part because our accomodations were perfect. Peaceful, private home that allowed us to relax in a pool or to take a paddle boat tour of the lake. Very comfortable rooms with all the ammenities of home. Good location, easy to get to Florida Keys, Downtown Miami or the Everglades. We would definitely recommend this destination to others.

Paradise Found!

This place is a remarkable jewel in the heart of South Miami. The grounds are gorgeous and include a well-kept lawn, tennis court, treehouse, lily pond, swimming pool, swing set, several outdoor eating areas, flowering trees and a section of local flora. The lake view is stunning and filled with passing waterfowl (loons, ducks, geese, ibises, etc.) that make for an entertaining show each morning and evening. For those wanting a closer look, there is a fun little paddleboat that we took out on several excursions. The location provides easy access to the airport, Key Biscayne, South Beach, the Everglades, and even Key Largo if you ever feel the need to leave the premises. Shopping centers within a few blocks provide all the food and other amenities you need. The premises are very clean and comfortable and include Direct TV and loads of DVDs and videos (especially for young kids). Our party included 5 adults and one toddler and there was plenty of

We stayed at the end of June to early July. The place was beautiful. The views were great. It was a nice relaxing place to retreat to after a day of hiking in the Everglades. The owner is nice and helpful as well. I'd recommend a stay here.

secluded paradise

We were "wowed"! Once my family arrived, we were amazed by the beauty. We felt as if we were in a miniature botanical garden. Gorgeous flowers, a beautiful lake, and yet our private pool, tennis court- even a tree house for the kids. I gather the lake is a private lake for the 15 or so houses that surround it as we never saw another person in the week we were there. The kids loved the paddle boat and pool, my wife loved the gorgeous beauty of the flowers and scenery and we all relaxed more than we have on any other vacation. Included with the house is Direct TV, mega DVDs and even a walk-in closet filled with games. We had more family time than any other vacation and we were able to relax and escape. As secluded as it was, the house is still close to so much- including a short drive to the ocean (which we only did twice because we found we liked the privacy of our place to be far superior.) I would not trade our experience for any five star resort in the 48 states.

The rooms are tastefully decorated. it is peacefull, quiet and lush. Beautiful view of the lake, pool at the doorstep of the bedroom. friendly owner that live upstairs but give you complete privacy. classy people in an elegant home. we loved it.
