Description of the Miami Shores vacation home rental

Private single family home in historic Miami Shores Fl. The perfect location and convenient to just about everything . Very quite neighborhood is minutes from all the action. Design Destrict, South Beach, Convention Center, Shopping, Bal Harbor, Golf and beaches, Airport, all within 15 minutes. Ft Lauderdale is 20 minutes away. Comfortable 2 bedroom, 1 bath all recently updated. Sleeps 4 comfortably. You will feel right at home from the moment you step thru the door. Lush tropical landscaping surrounds the entire property and heated in ground pool with attached spa tub. Property manager is 5 minutes away and available for personal concierge services (Grocery shopping prior to your trip, dinner and excursion reservations etc.). All pets welcome.

Area Information

Miami Shores has two main shopping areas, the biggest being our downtown known as Village Place, which extends along NE 2nd. Avenue from NE 94th. Street to NE 101st. Street. There are several pocket parks downtown as well.

A wildly successful Starbucks is a good place to fuel up for a few hours of strolling NE 2nd. Avenue, and check out the village’s retail offerings. Several new clothing stores have popped up along with a gourmet food store this past year. They join existing gift shops, an optician, a pharmacy, convenience store, phone stores, and several salons. The third Friday of each month from October to March is “Shopping Night” with over thirty stores staying open late and offering entertainment, refreshments, and specials. There are over 951 parking spaces downtown!

A Publix supermarket anchors Biscayne Boulevard, which sits across from a shopping center featuring a drug store, Burger King, dollar store and TD Bank, among other tenants.

Back in Village Place, gourmet French cuisine awaits at Cote Gourmet in the Shoreview Building, and more casual fare for families can be found at Pizza Fiore and Iron Sushi. Lunch and sandwich offerings are available at Norberto’s, Starbucks and Subway.

Fantastic location,fantastic house,fantastic host

We are a family of three, two adults and one 1-year old daughter. We stayed in the house for a whole month and didn't want to go home. The house is even more beautiful than the pictures shows. The garden is just fantastic with plants, flowers, spices, lemon trees and with the swimming pool in the centre. Our daughter just loved it, and we also, and we used it every day. The garden also offered a large paved patio area with furniture and large gas grill, and a outdoor shower. The house was spotless clean and well prepared. It felt more roomy than we expected. It has light interior with wooden floors and nice furnitures. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, such as pans and pots, coffee machine, kitchen aid machine, as well as spices, oils, aluminum foil, plastic foil, plastic bags, etc. The area Miami Shores felt safe and quiet. The location of the house in Miami Shores was great, just a few blocks away from Publix supermarket, Starbucks etc., a few blocks away from golf court, recreation centre and playground. Rob, the host, is a great guy who is very helpful and friendly and really want you to have a great vacation. Best host you can wish for. To summarize, we REALLY RECOMMEND this place.
