Description of the Minocqua vacation cottage rental

Located approximately 8 miles from Minocqua and 2 miles from the Bear Skin bike/snowmobile trail in Hazelhurst. The lake cottage sits on a slight hill overlooking Silver Lake and is surrounded by a wooded area with lots of trees. Enjoy watching the deer come to the salt block or listen to the loons call late into the evening. The lake has a clear sand bottom swim area and natural beach area. Have fun
playing king of the raft on the large bouncer raft. Enjoy the sparkling clear water sitting on the end of one of the two piers available for your use or, get a great tan from the sun deck. If you favor fishing, we have a row boat, paddle boat and canoe available to use. The lake cottage is rustic and boasts classic knotty pine interior in all main rooms. The cottage has two cozy bedrooms, each consisting of a double bed, ceiling fan, small dresser and small open
closet. Both bedrooms are connected to a simple eat-in kitchen/living room area. This area has a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave as well as a sink and counter space for all of your cooking needs. There is a kitchen table that easily seats four people. The living area also has a full size futon, chair and small TV/VCR/DVD combo for all of your relaxing needs. Just off the kitchen/living area to the front of the lake cottage is a large screened-in porch which has a wonderful view of the lake. The screened-in porch has a full size couch along with a resin patio table and chairs. There is one full
size bathroom with a shower stall, there is no bathtub. The bathroom is accessed thru the enclosed porch. Outside there is a charcoal grill for your outdoor dining needs. A fire pit/picnic area is available to use and it overlooks the lake for memorable late night bon-fires. The lake area and fire pit are a common shared area between this Lake Cottage and another onsite rental. Both docks, raft, sundeck, canoe and paddle boat are available for both rental properties to enjoy. If you are looking for something that is clean, cozy and comfortable that is close to everything, for a reasonable rate, then this is the place for you! All furnishings have been updated within the past 5 years. Please inquire about pets.

Located just south of Minocqua on Highway 51, Hazelhurst is only minutes away from access to the Lake Minocqua chain of lakes and Lake Tomahawk. There are hundreds of lakes in the Hazelhurst area for your enjoyment. Shopping and dining establishments are plentiful in the area from Hazelhurst to Minocqua, Eagle River, Rhinelander, Tomahawk, and surrounding communities and all within an easy drive.
Recreational opportunities in the area include golf, horseback riding and many small amusement parks.
