Description of the Mishawaka vacation chalet rental

New Lake Chalet, two bedroom, new in 2001 with very nice view, located on sandy bottom Koontz Lake. The lake offers a beautiful sand bar for swimming right off our pier. Next door are two,2- bedroom cottages that sleeps 8 & 8 and a three bedroom chalet that sleeps 9. The chalet and one of the cottages are available year round.

The Tree House lakefront chalet offers central air and heat, a huge open porch with six-person therapeutic hot tub, outdoor living and eating area including sink and gas grill. The covered porch makes this chalet able to accommodate inclement weather conditions (just in case!). Large yard in a quiet neighborhood for family activities and campfires. Additional cottages next door that sleeps eight (Fisherman's Cove), six (Garden Cottage) and nine (Lily's Pad). All have Hot Tubs! Enjoy the lake with a peaceful early morning row in the row boat that comes with Chalet, or sit on the boardwalk and watch the fish jump. You can fish right from the boardwalk!

Master suite is upstairs overlooking lake with a two person jacuzzi tub, gas fireplace, bed, and sitting area with cable TV/VCR. The second bedroom sleeps five and is equipped with cable TV. There is a downstairs bathroom with a shower and an upstairs bath as well. Downstairs offers a sitting area with a sofa and love seat, small gas fireplace, fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher in the island. Two sliding doors face the lake and enter onto the covered porch.

Located on beautiful Koontz Lake in a small community only minutes from many activites including Notre Dame, world-class golf courses, Amish Country, Potato Creek State Park, Horseback Riding and so much more.
