Great Family Trip Rental

This vacation rental was great! We came out to the San Diego area last October and stayed in a hotel suite off in hotel circle. Well, this year I wanted to look into getting a condo and found this place for about $15 less than any hotel in the area that was worth staying at. If I had to do it over again, I would pick this place the second time around as well. For the price you cannot ask for a better place. The neighborhood is quiet and quaint. The landlord(s) are more than accommodating, always being on their "A" game supplying dry, clean towels, home furnishings, beach ammenities, etc. We were provided with boogie boards, sand toys for the kids, beach towels, beach mats, bikes and more. It has a private and personal back patio area for outside dining and BBQing. The interior has nice remodeling and a vintage feel all at the same time. The location is great - super close to everything you want to do in the Bay area. Sea World is about a 3 mile drive/bike. The bay beaches and shore lines are within walking distance and Mission Beach/Belmont Park is about 5 miles away and Pacific Beach - 4 miles. If we come back to San Diego next fall we will probably stay here again.

The Best!

We just came back from San Diego, and I would like to give the best possible score to this rental location. We enjoyed every minute of staying there, and the owner did everything possible to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The property has everything you might think of, like comfortable beds, two TV sets with cable TV, free Wi-Fi, nice kitchen and dining place, small cozy patio, private entrance, all accessories, like beach towels and blankets, and even swimming boards. The location is the very best. The longest drive we had to all local attractions was no more than 20 minutes. The ride to the beach is 8-9 minutes (no highways – no traffic). The only drawback for us – no smoking on the patio. But that might be considered as a good one as well, since we smoke significantly less during this vacation than usual. We would definitely recommend the place to all our friends planning vacation in San Diego.

Totallly charmed

We loved it. My little family of three (including our 8-year old son) stayed here for a week-long vacation in San Diego. It was everything we expected and more. Great location, wonderful hosts, good space for our needs. The atmosphere is warm, clean, quiet, and charming. The only reason we didn't give it 5-stars - the lack of a washer/dryer. Otherwise, we give it an enthusiastic two thumbs up!

The owner Dave, was absolutely fantastic. He was very nice and made sure we had everything needed to have a good time, including restaurant recommendations. He offered boogie boards, bikes, beach chairs and a gas grill to use just in case! Excellent place, bed was comfortable, kids loved the futon and plenty of room to eat in the dining room! Will definitely go back as we were very pleased, and the kids can see fireworks right from the street!!!

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our four-night stay as we felt very much "at home". The unit is spacious, clean, and private. The owner was most gracious with each contact made. The location is near most everything needed in the area, including the Tijuana border--25 minutes--which we needed for medical purposes. I highly recommend this property.

Great Stay

You can't ask for a better location. Easy access to the highway, and 30 minute or less drive to all major San Diego attractions. Two kids (8 & 5), wife and myself had plenty of room. Quiet, private, easy parking, gracious host (let us use bikes and boogie boards), and close to restaurants and groceries. Loved it!!!

The IDEAL San Diego Getaway!

this place is PERFECT. gracious owners, fantastic location (walking distance from the beach!), less than a 5 minute drive to downtown and the convention center. the space was quiet and private, clean and well decorated. the bed couch were comfy and the kitchen allowed for light cooking and storage of food in a convenient mini-fridge. open street parking was readily available. we truly enjoyed our stay and are planning on coming back next july! HIGHLY recommended!

I got the suite for my boyfriends 21st bday. He loved it! It was very nice and roomy perfect for 2 people. It was cozy,clean and quit. And close to many fun places to enjoy a nice dinner and there are plenty of things to do near by. =)
