Description of the Mission Beach vacation condo rental

Vacation in our fully furnished South Mission Beach 3 bedroom 2-bath condo this summer. It is just 84 steps to the boardwalk, beach, and volleyball courts. Our comfortable airy second floor Mission Beach unit has its own ground level garden patio for you to enjoy. The sunny brick patio is surrounded by Palm trees and flowers. It has a barbecue, umbrella, table and chairs. After a fun day at the beach, wash off the sand in our hot & cold water outdoor shower.

Upstairs you will find your home away from home where the spacious unit sleeps up to eight guests. Local telephone and two TVs with cable service are included. All the sheets, towels, dishes, utensils and cookware are provided. Beautiful oak cabinets and designer tile highlight the kitchen. The glass cook top, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, washer and gas dryer are all recently new appliances. The master bathroom has double sinks, a bathtub and a separate shower. At night you can watch the Sea World fireworks show from the master bedroom balcony. There are large closets in every bedroom and a convenient inside laundry room with fulls size washer and gas dryer. Single car garage with opener plus the tandem space behind it.

Area Information

There are many shops, restaurants, and beach rentals even a Farmer's market along the Boardwalk. A five-minute stroll will take you to The Giant Dipper Roller Coaster at the historic Belmont Park. The beachfront amusement park also features the Plunge, the largest indoor public swimming pool in Southern California, and the new FlowRider, a ridable simulated wave attraction. Five minutes by car will have you and your family visiting Shamu at SeaWorld’s Adventure Park in San Diego. Be sure to visit the World Famous San Diego Zoo in Balboa Park and The Wild Animal Park located in Escondido. The Flying Leatherneck Historical Foundation and Aviation Museum, at the Miramar Marine Corps Base, is new and free to the public. Legoland is located north of San Diego in Carlsbad.

Many tours are available by: bus, sailboat, yacht, plane, helicopter, or on foot. There are so many points of interest and places to see. The La Jolla Scripps Aquarium, the San Diego Maritime Museum, the Presidio/Junipero Serra Museum, Hotel del Coronado, and the Gaslamp Quarter are must sees too. Shop for school in Fashion Valley and Mission Valley Malls. Save some time to relax at the beach and enjoy your vacation!

Belmont park is a walk down the Boardwalk and Sea World is 5 minutes away. Veterans Park is within walking distance. Many new restaurants and shops along the boardwalk. All kinds of rentals along the beach as you walk towards the Ferris Wheel.

Best beach rental ever!

This condo was extremely clean and well equipped for our family of five. Lots of attractions to see in San Diego that are near by. Sea World and the San Diego Zoo were our favorites. We hope we can rent this particular place again next summer as we loved the location and the layout of the condo; perfect for a family!

The location of this condo is Great! We really enjoyed our stay. We were disappointed that the gas fireplace wasn't in working condition and also no T.V. in Master Bedroom even though website say's there is.....The paito is a great place to sit and relax after a day on the beach :)

Fantastic Vacation Spot

We loved the condo!! The layout is fabulous and having a washer/dryer inside was a real gem. The outdoor shower was great for taking the beach off of everyone before heading in doors. Parking is tight but two large size vehicles fit (just a little scrap on the first one :) ) The condo did get a little warm but running the fans really helped. The downstairs neighbor was also wonderful. We would definitely stay here again.

Rooms were just as pictured - actually larger than expected. Patio was beautiful. Our family had a great time together! Outside shower (with warm water) was fabulous after a day at the beach! Kitchen go hot in the afternoons when oven or stove was on but we just grilled every night after day one. Rooms were cool to sleep (unlike Hawaii in August). We did bring a couple of extra fans just in case. We were fortunate the condo had two parking spaces - there is very limited parking in Mission Beach.
