Description of the Mission Beach vacation condo rental
The condo is located on the 2nd floor providing privacy, quiet and safety for you and your family, while allowing you to view all the beach and boardwalk action below.
The condo was recently remodeled with new kitchen appliances, new hotel queen bed, new queen leather sleeper/sofa and new leather recliner. The kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking and eating utensils you will need. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and TV, the second bedroom 2 twin beds and computer, and the living room a queen sleeper/couch, recliner, Flat Screen HDTV, DVD player, VCR, and stereo. The large balcony overlooks the boardwalk and has patio seating for 6 and a gas BBQ.
All linens are supplied except for beach towels. We even provide boogie boards and beach chairs. There is one parking space below the unit large enough to fit the biggest SUV.
The condo is located halfway between the Pacific Beach Pier and the famed Belmont Park roller coaster. Just in back of our building are several restaurants, bike rentals, surf board rentals, apparel shops, beach shops, and surfing lession shops. Stroll up the boardwalk to find more restaurants.

Area Information
Depending on your mood and level of energy, there are many ways to enjoy the boardwalk. Some folks simply enjoy finding a nice spot to sit, usually on the wall adjoining the beach. From here you can take in the show, a non-stop parade of interesting characters finding the most unusual ways to express themselves. Physically challenged folks have plenty of room to hang out or they can cruise the boardwalk if they have the means to do so.

This unit was clean and in great repair. The kitchen was well stocked and VERY spacious. The owners manage the property themselves and it shows. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a getaway on the beach.

The very first thing you experience when you walk into this wonderful condo is the view of the sand and ocean. I could not get over this wonderful view. The condo has all the necessary amenities if you just want to stay in and cook. There are a lot of places within walking distance, so you never have to drive if you don't want to. Our favorite past time was sitting on the balcony watching people walk, jog, roller blade, and bike by. Fell asleep each night listening to the waves and woke up to the same. We cannot wait to return next year. It is a definite for us. Also, excellent view of the fireworks on the Fourth of July. Tip: definitely rent bikes for a couple of days so you can ride up to Pacific Beach or the center of Mission Beach. Park the bikes and have a nice lunch. Thank you again for the wonderful time and the memories that we made.

The condo just had new rugs put in and the smell caused my daughter some distress. After we aired ou her bedroom all was well. This condo was a great base to explore the San Diego area. A parking space and laundry were plusses! The bedrooms were spacious and the matresses comfortable. I would recommend this condo to a friend.

We enjoyed are stay and were happy with the condo. The location was great, access to everything was convenient. Less than 10 minutes to almost everything including downtown. We rented on the economical side and were pleased with what we got for what we paid. One recommendation is to put a mirror in each bedroom. The only mirror was in the bathroom and that just doesn't cut it with girls and women involved, especially if you're the guy.

Great place if you love the ocean

This condo is outstanding. When you open the door you look through the living room window directly at the surf. The master bedroom also has a great ocean view--when you wake up and open your eyes,without even lifting your head off the pillow, you are looking at the Pacific Ocean. The condo is on the second floor, providing privacy from the walkers/joggers on the boardwalk. The condo is very well equipped, with all those little things you need, like scissors, paper goods, enough dishes and glasses for a party, and tons of linens. We were able to cook stuffing and cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen. There were a variety of CDs for the stereo, 3 TVs, and even a desktop computer, along with wireless internet for your laptop. I guess the only negatives might be the 1 parking place (our visitors either walked or knew other places to park) and one son thought that the daybeds in the living room were a bit hard (lots of soft blankets to compensate

Being from the East Coast, I really enjoy the ocean. What a joy to open my eyes to this each morning. We did laundry a couple times when we were there. I bought a box of laundry detergent about the second day and left it in the laundry area. I needed to do laundry again before I left and certainly didn't expect to find the detergent still there.
