Description of the Mission Beach vacation home rental

We recently purchased this home in Mission Beach that we have totally renovated, both inside and outside. It is located at 810 Sunset Court, San Diego, 92109. It is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom tri-level home with each bedroom and bathroom on separate levels. Each bedroom has access to its own bathroom.

We have remodeled the kitchen with new cabinets, granite counter tops and stainless gas appliances with Jenn-Air downdraft stove. The home is naturally very light with all new vinyl dual-pane windows, doors and skylights. There is a fireplace in the living room with a new 42" plasma HDTV above the fireplace. The living room has a Lazy-Boy Queen sleeper sofa. These are extra comfortable, as you pull out the mattress and then electronically pump-up the attached air mattress on top.

The Master Bedroom has a King-size bed and its own private deck with views of Mission Bay. The middle bedroom has a double bunk with twin on top and pull-out twin trundle bed. The lower bedroom has 2 Queen-size beds. All mattresses and linens are high quality. The mattresses are Sealy pillow tops. Each bathroom has new vanities, mirrors and granite counter tops.

We have travertine tile in the entryways, kitchen and bathrooms. There are 3 decks and outside patio in front for enjoying coffee or a glass of wine.

Area Information

Mission Beach is a small community with Mission Blvd. running north and south through it. On each side of the Blvd. are houses, condos, restaurants, rental shops, delis and other commercial businesses. The Pacific Ocean is on the west side and Mission Bay is on the east side of Mission Bvd. There is a concrete boardwalk which runs throughout the beach and bay areas. The boardwalk is great for walking, bicycling, roller skating or blading, skate boarding and just good 'ole people watching.

Perfect house, perfect location

Our family group of 6 rented this house for 8 nights and it was fantastic!! Amazingly close to the beach and bay, biking or walking distance to restaurants, Belmont park, and SeaWorld. The house was beautiful in a great location and the area felt very safe. We just got back and I am already planning my next trip out there!!

Fabulous House

We stayed in this vacation rental for 5 nights in mid-September. It was a family vacation which included our grown children. There were 6 of us and we had a fabulous time. There was plenty of room for all and we were able to have our own space whenever we needed. The kithcen was great - we made most of our meals there and the grill worked wonderfully. The proximity of this house to the beach was such an added bonus. We were able to go on bike rides, walk to restaurants in Mission Beach and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. If there was a downside, it would be that the house does not have air conditioning and it was fairly warm during the day. The nights were cool with a nice breeze. We all had a great time and would recommend this house over a hotel any day!

Our NFL support group have stayed at this property ever year since 2007. Great property! Certainly a much more economical way to enjoy the beach than a hotel. Convenient location to all the fun that PB and MB have to offer. One suggestion though. Don't rent a big SUV if you want to park in the garage.

We really enjoyed our week at the beach. The house had everything that we needed and we loved riding the bikes. The only downside was the pull out sofa bed was really uncomfortable and the view of the bay from the decks was very limited. However, the location was outstanding.

We recently stayed at 810 Sunset court. It was a well laid out house that was within a couple blocks of Sail Bay and Mission Beach. Very nice Master bedroom. It was nice to have the washer, dryer and internet access during our stay. Also nice to have the beach toys and beach cruisers to use. Only minutes on foot to restaurants and stores. The only downside of the house was the smaller amount of room to park a second car in the garage. A compact car would probably fit on the shorter side. Everyone in our party mentioned at one point how perfect the house was for our stay. We would definitely rent this property again.

Great San Diego Rental House

The extended family all converged on San Diego and stayed in this house. We had 6 adults and 4 children. There was plenty of space for everyone. It was really nice to have a place to gather and make food. The cost was significantly cheaper than 3-4 hotel rooms would have cost. It was also nice to have washer/dryer.
