Description of the Mission Beach vacation home rental

Almost new home 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home with panoramic views of Mission Bay & Sea World. This home is spacious for large groups - every bedroom has access to own bath. The home was built & furnished in December 2004 with approximately 2000 square feet. Enjoy the views from 3 separate decks. The rooftop deck is approximately 500 square feet for entertaining or simply relaxing in the sun. Sleep under the stars with the portable bed and down comforter! 'Toys, toys, toys' for both inside & outside include 4 bikes, 4 boogie boards, surfboard, sand toys, beach chairs & towels, games, gas BBQ. Inside is a computer with high speed internet connection, DVD players in all bedrooms & family room. Linens are new high quality - beds are pillow top mattresses, even the pillows are down & feather. Enter the ground floor to one bedroom & bath - this bedroom has a Queen Bed

Area Information

Mission Beach is in the heart of San Diego - Family can stay in Mission Beach & enjoy the entire day & evening without using a car. Walk or bike to restaurants, beach, local pubs, Belmont Park. Rent a sail boat or try a surfing lesson. Sea World & the Zoo are minutes away. Gaslamp District (downtown) has shopping & nightlife. Airport, Zoo, Gaslamp, Sea World are within a 15 minute drive. Don't forget Lego Land for the kids - this is a 30 to 40 minute drive up the coast. If you wish to visit Mexico & enjoy their wonderful culture & lobster this is only 30 to 45 minutes away from Mission Beach. Entertainment Book 2005 is provided for guests to use - coupons for great restaurants & entertainment throughout Southern California.

Missed the grandchildren!

I rented this home so we could take our grandchildren to Sea World but due to issues we had to cancel their trip so my husand and I went and had 2 friends visit us for a week. It was a great idea to do a test run so we could see the area and know what to take and what the home supplied. I loved the DECK! My favorite place. Close to everything! Will be calling the owner about a reschedule for the Sea World trip.

Ready to go again!

We just returned from a wonderful family vacation and this home was a large part of its success. Yes, it does have a lot of stairs and the garage is a challange the first time but all of that is outweighed by the location and amenities. The large family/living room was great for gatherings, we had Thanksgiving dinner there and the table fit the eight of us comfortably. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked, the beds were comfortable, the privacy that came from the differnt levels was great, it was quiet and well located to most of the places we went (nothing is close to the Wild Animal Park). It really felt like home and we apprecated the "toys" for bike rides, picnics and the beach. We really enjoyed our stay.

I recently use the house to accomdate players for my golf tournament. This place was great. The owner keeps the place fully stocked with towels and other amentities and it is located in a great area. The rooftop is a great place to relax and has a great view. There was plenty of room for all the players.

Great location, good value

House is in a great location, beautiful views from the deck, and has everything you need plus 3.5 baths. We had 10 people and were very comfortable. Only drawback is it is hard to park in the garage and street parking is almost impossible. Also, a lot of stairs.
