Come stay in this beautiful old-growth log home built right on the famous Clark Fork River! We have 1000 feet of the historic Clark Fork riverfront for your boating, fishing, swimming, kayaking pleasure...or just hanging out with the eagles, deer and heron.

You are 20 minutes from blue ribbon fishing in any direction, or simply in your own front yard! This is a two story log home on 8 acres with the front yard literally on the Clark Fork River! Fishing paradise right here on the grounds or travel to Rock Creek, famous for trout fishing! You are 15 minutes from Missoula, Montana and 30 minutes from the airport! Missoula has fabulous dining, theatre, micro-breweries and is home to the two time national champion Montana Grizzlies and the U of M!

A gas fireplace will keep you cozy in the winter and the river breeze will keep you refreshed in the summer! A complete kitchen, living room, dining room and bath downstairs are in this rustic beauty! This home easily sleeps 10! A loft bedroom with a queen bed, a private bedroom downstairs with a queen bed, down comforter, and beautiful rustic style! There is a sleeper sofa/futon, a good one, in the living room and we bring in bunk beds for large groups needing more beds!

The kitchen is large & complete with everything you need down to the martini glasses! Large picture windows look out onto the grounds with deer and lots of birds! There is a bedroom on the main floor, and a loft bedroom upstairs. We have a full bathroom with shower and tub. You can enjoy cable TV, stereo and beautiful rustic antiques, antlers, western kitch! The living room has vaulted ceilings with a loft bedroom. We have ceiling fans, large picture windows everywhere, an old honky tonk piano and even Louis L'amore novels! This is a comfortable and clean large log cabin. Not a luxury resort. It is homey and relaxing.

Area Description

Missoula is a beautiful little town, with the convergence of three rivers running through it -- oh, and by the way, this is the home of the author of the River Runs Through It! Our guest home on the Clark Fork River. Missoula boasts the Clark Fork, Blackfoot and Bitterroot Rivers!

This area is all about the fishin'! This is the place fly fisherman dream about! There are 140 hiking trails in the area for the advanced and just the peaceful bird watcher! We have two ski resorts located right in the middle of town! Snow Bowl and Marshall Ski Resort and there are 5 more in the area. This is Rocky Mountain recreation at it's best!

We have fabulous shopping, for those who don't want to fish, and the famous Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, the University of Montana, Live Theatre and great restaurants!


We have world class fly fishing, hunting, and rafting guides available for your enjoyment right in your own front yard! The beauty of our guest home is that while you are sleeping under the Big Sky surrounding by pine trees, eagles and deer, you are only 20 minutes to Missoula and all that it offers, not to mention only 30 minutes to the airport! We also have large tents available on the banks of the Clark Fork River with lanterns and a complimentary champagne bucket! Roughin' it luxury style!

This is truly special! Walk out your front door, hop into your canoe and float, fish and enjoy the beauty of the Clark Fork River! You can just sit in the beauty of this riverfront property and watch eagles, osprey and blue heron frolic in the Clark Fork River! You are conveniently close to one of Montana's most lovely cities and yet you feel like you have really escaped the world! This large old cabin is indeed special, not fancy, but very home-like! No phones, no computers, just quiet and the river.
