Beautiful 3 bedroom house with two wrap-around decks overlooking beautiful Grand Lake! This gorgeous home is beautifully decorated inside and out, and features an incredible view from two decks, a fireplace, a gameroom with a fooseball table, 2 tvs with dish satellite, vcr/dvd,
and fully stocked kitchen. This is a perfect house for adult vacations. This house is situated on a cliff, so there is no lake access or boat dock on the property ... which also makes it unsuitable for small children. You can keep your boat in the front driveway area, or can rent a slip by the day at nearby marinas. Grand Lake O' The Cherokees is one of the premiere lakes in the midwest and the crown jewel of a chain of lakes in Oklahoma. Boasting 1300 miles of coastline, Grand Lake is called the "water lover's paradise" because it is an oasis for water sports such as swimming, sailing, skiing and fishing, and, in fact, is one of the best bass fishing lakes in the country. Rent a boat from the marina, hire a fishing guide to take you out to catch your limit, charter a yacht, or take a dinner cruise on the Cherokee Queen paddle boat. Or, if you're really into to "high flying" adventure, you might want to go parasailing over the lake for another "grand" view!
Aside from all of the water activities, there is so much more to do on Monkey Island. Monkey Island is considered the hub of Grand Lake's nightlife. You will find great restaurants, (some you arrive to by boat), and live club entertainment. Whether hiking a
nature trail is your thing, ... or shopping for antiques, or ... horseback riding, or.. spending your day in a health and beauty spa, ... or playing a round of golf at one of the two 18 hole champion-ship golf courses, you will find it here on Monkey Island ! Since the island is only 7 miles long and between 1 and 3 miles wide, everything is close by ... within walking distance or a very short ride!
