Description of the Montague vacation cabin rental

Secluded cabin on White Lake near Montague, only 3/4 of a mile from the beaches and dunes of Lake Michigan. This quaint cabin features big picture windows overlooking White Lake, a large yard, and beautiful exposed log interior in the bedrooms. There are three bedrooms--two double beds and one queen, one and half baths, a microwave, dishwasher, and central air conditioning. Linens, cookware and dinnerware are supplied, as well as lawn furniture and a charcoal grill. A boat launch is just minutes away, as are tennis courts and the Montague/Hart bikepath.

The rental season is from June 15 through September. The rental rate is $1000 per week for June and September, and $1200 per week for July and August. The rent must be paid upon key pick-up. In addition, a $500 deposit ($600 with pets) is required in order to reserve your week. No smoking. Please call or e-mail for deposit information or any questions.

Area Information

The charming towns of Montague and Whitehall are separated by White Lake, a perfect place to fish or go boating. At nearby Lake MIchigan, you can enjoy the white beaches and dunes that invite you to swim, sun and hike. If you drive about 20 miles to the north, you will see the beautiful white dunes of Silver Lake. Approximately 15 miles to the south is Michigan's Adventure Park, an amusement park for all ages.

A Little Piece of Heaven

We have been in all 50 states and a dozen foreign countries. Our stay at Trail's End was the most memorable. "Close to perfect" comes to mind along with the memories of both sunrise and sunset on the lake. The cottage is nestled in the trees and the quietness of Mother Nature.

The cabin was wonderful, fully equipped with everything we needed,linens, kitchen supplies, even coffee! Close to the beaches, shopping, nice bluff area overlooking the lake, very peaceful setting. Second year in a row we have had our family get together there. We hope to be there again next year.
