It is close by Hither Hills State Park, where those who are interested in native island animal and vegetation habitat are offered a unique opportunity to explore this nature area.
Montauk offers world-class fishing for shark, tuna, bass, and bluefish. Enjoy passenger ferries to Block Island, Mystic Seaport, and Shelter Island. Horseback riding at Deep Hollow Ranch offers miles of trail to enjoy and bikers have miles of paths to explore.
Enjoy this "living end" resort community with a secluded beach, sand and surf just a short 2 blocks away. Return to a comfortable house where a cool breeze and the rumble of waves hint at the ocean beyond. A wrap-around deck which contains outdoor furniture under a shade tree, lends itself to complete privacy while dining or relaxing in comfort.
The outdoor stairs leading to the sundeck completes the picture with expansive views of ocean and inland. Whether you decide to walk to the ocean or ride in comfort and park on lthe dunes with a key to a private parking area, Montauk is the place to be.
As a retreat, this house offers resort-style living: Sailing, swimming, beachcombing, sunning and casting in the surf for flounder, bass or bluefish. The house is modern, spacious and secluded, and there are wonderful open-air windows throughout which provide great natural light.
In Fall & Winter, enjoy quiet evenings by the cozy, wood-burning fireplace. Or, better yet, pick out a secluded spot on the dunes and roast marshmallows over a low fire. There is nothing more invigorating than watching the waves break over the shoreline. Afterwards, walk along the virtually uninhabited coastline and enjoy quiet beauty and majesty of the vast Atlantic.
In summer, imagine sandy beaches kissed by the waves and glorious sunsets. The salt air refreshes the spirit, and a swim in the ocean, a fishing trip or a round of golf just might relax the mind. Go to sleep to the lull of the ocean and wake to the rising sun over the water.

Our Vacation Home is located high on a hill, so that water and sunset make a beautiful view. It is approximately 1-1/2 miles west of the town of Montauk, off scenic Old Montauk Highway, near Gurney's Inn, and in the quiet Hither Hills section. Bring nothing but your toothbrush, as the house is fully furnished. There is a full electric kitchen with appliances, pots, pans, tableware, etc.
Hither Hills is known for its quiet serenity and charm, and is surrounded by thick vegetation and oak trees.
