Relaxing Vacation Studio in Secure Beachview Condo (#43222)

Write a review My husband and I stayed here during the last week of February and it was so worth it-Beach everyday! All the tips were great except don't go to the Irish Kilt place across the street for food. The service sucked and there was fungus on the bread. Go to Pork Pit for the Jerk and The Native for everything else. I definitely recommend staying here. It's like having your own place and you can walk to everything. This was my second visit to Mr. Glenn's condo. And I have to admit, I felt like I was at my home away from home! I didn't have to pretend anything, it was simply how I felt-natural. That tells me that I've found a great place to vacation! Jamaica holds a unique charm for me, because Jamaica is unique! And the Montego Bay Club suits me perfectly. There are just not enough words in the English language to express how comfortable, welcome, and at home I felt! Hats off to Glover Glenn! You can be sure that I'm thinking of when is the next time.... My family and I stayed at the Montego Bay Club for Christmas. The condo was clean and had everything we needed to prepare meals, etc. The beds were very comfortable, so comfortable my teenage son slept most of the day. We had a breath-taking view of the ocean, and all the actions and sounds of the hipstrip. If you want a reasonably priced condominium in a great location, this is it! If you are like me, and don't want to spend a lot on transportation, ask the locals how to get a taxi that is not chartered. Chartered cabs charge up to 20 times more. A safe taxi would be a regular looking car with a red license plate with the first two letters of PP. There will be other people riding in the cab with you, but you won't be out of US$20 for a JA$75 ride which equates to less than US$1. That was the biggest problem I faced. Just remember that Jamaicans don't have a lot of money, so there is no way they would pay so much for a ride. Overall, the location was great, the condo was clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was awesome! I will book again next year. This was my first trip to Jamaica and it was AWESOME!!! The Mobay Club Resort provided both comfort and security. The room was charming with lot's of home amenities.I particularly enjoyed sitting out on the balcony.The staff was pleasant and helpful. "Location Is Everything" Right on the "Hipstrip" and across the street from Doctor's Cave Beach, I had everything I wanted in a vacation.I would definetly recommend staying here.I'm already planning a return visit. In fact, we enjoyed staying there, we looked forward to returning to it's quiet, comfortable, and cozy haven after a day out and about sightseeing. Our stay in Montego Bay was memorable with a lot of those good memories made at the condo. We both felt safe and had all the amenities we needed, all within a short distance. If you want a reasonably priced condominium in a great location, this is the place! I know that when we're planning another visit to Montego Bay, we will not hesitate to book my next stay right here at the Montego Bay Club. My friends and I stayed at this property from July, 19-26. The room was nice and very comfortable. Situated on the hip strip, everything is at your reach, the beach is across the street for an entry fee of US$5 or JA$400. Staff was friendly and helpful, Do not hesitate to ask them for anything. We called for extra towels and within minutes there was a knock at the door. There's a supermarket downstairs where you can get just about anything. The owner went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We even had mangoes waiting for us in the refrigerator. In comparison to our past experiences with hotels, We would definitely stay at this property again. If you are visiting Jamaica- this is definitely the place to stay! It truly fits the budget. Traveler's tip: Convert your US$$ to the JA currency, you save more, and you are less likely to be ripped off. Also learn how to smile and say no thank you as you will be doing this alot!!! One Love
