We had the most wonderful time at your place on our visit! Cannot tell you how friendly and helpful all of the folks were at the house; felt like we were their family. I am known for asking many, many questions, sometimes personal about how you live and each and every one of them chatted along just like it was not unusual. Ulrich is quite a character and does an outstanding job with the outside; no smell of chlorine in the pool since he rises very early to do his business. He was always about and willing to spend time with us. Dorothy was as personable and as accommodating as she could be. We had the opportunity to meet Dorothy's daughter and she too is quite the girl. Perry provided outstanding rides and once again answered my many, many questions. We have been selling your place since we left and hope to round up a small group to visit next spring. Timetables will be our only impediment. The cook, forgive me if I can't remember his name, even treated me to a real Jamaican breakfast! Wow, haven't had that in years. I grew up and lived in Nova Scotia for 30 years; salt dried cod, onions, and fat pork in the frying pan was on our menu all winter. After eating eggs one morning I could smell the fish and asked "how come I have to eat whiteman's breakfast while you're eating something better?" And so I was treated!! Nicest B&B we have ever stayed in, anywhere and anytime! Almost made friends with your other house guests and have a preliminary plan to trade houses for a vacation whenever they can save up the flight money in the future. We were happy to have a reason to go to the Grand Principae for our wedding, since we could see what an all inclusive was like. Never had the urge to do one of those, but thought this was an excellent experience to try. Needless to say, we will never ever entertain this mode of holiday. We had had "real" jerk chicken in the "mall" up the road from your place; they had jerk on the menu at the Principae the next day; no resemblance! So, we hope to get to see your place again next year. It's tough to convince people that not all of Jamaica is dangerous; our newspapers and tv, etc., loves to report about the dangers and how there is just nothing to do there but lie on the beach. We're working hard to change some of that with anyone we come in contact with. While I understand the fences, dogs, etc., we still got dropped off at the big box store near the sports stadium, and with lots of leftover time before Perry, we walked around the area. We found the people there happy to tell us which alley not to go down and found them all very cordial. All in all, I can certainly see why we should all want to retire in Jamaica, especially Montego Bay area! Thanks once again to ALL of your people for such a great holiday. ps I am very reluctant to call them "staff" since there seemed to be no formailities, including using the kitchen to make our lunch!! thanks again for a wonderfull, memorable time Reg and Sheila
