comfy condo few steps away from beach

We had a memorable time at this vacation home. The home was neat and very well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, dishes, utensils to cook, blankets, pillows, etc. So our group had lots of fun. The location was so good with beach just few steps away, community was quiet and nice where the kids can run w/o the adults having to fear for their safety.

We all had a great time at the Monterey Dunes condo. Plenty of room for everyone and the ocean view was awesome. Would definitely stay here again in the future. Would recommend this to everyone looking for a place on the beach.

Family of four, a teen, 6-year old and M&D, stayed Easter 2011. What a wonderful condo and a magnificent beach. Condo had all that we needed and master bed/bath very private from other two rooms. Beach is so pretty - youngster was in the pacific for most of our week there, dodging jelly fish. Loved all the seashells. THANKS to Mark & Family.

"Sweet 16th" at the beach!

We rented this beach house for our daughter's 16th birthday and it was absolutely wonderful...even though it rained that weekend! She just enjoyed the fact that she could spend time at the beach with family and friends.The house was very cozy and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay there, again, as well as recommend it to our friends! Thanks, so much, for helping to make our daughter's "sweet 16" all that she wanted.

The condo is just gorgeous!! It is big, clean and with towels and extra bed sheets/blankets provided. The bathrooms and kitchens are spacious. My friends and I had a lot of fun staying at the condo. It's just great!! Thank you!!

This is the 2nd year in a row staying in this condo with the kids and grandkids. What a great time. Perfect temps for beachwalking in the early morning or at dusk. Beautiful sunsets and clean quiet beach for lazy afternoon snoozes. So much to do or not to do - it is up to you. Classic Car show in Capitola, whale watching (actually 100's of dolphins), MB Aquarium, Sta Cruz Boardwalk, tidepooling in PG, breakfast at First Awakenings in PG - go there! Elkhorn Slough Preserve was a new venture and of course Phil's Clam Chowder in Moss Landing - have the bread bowl. Great memories. The kids had a blast. Looking forward to a "three-peat" in the future. Thank you Skeens for sharing your vacation home. Blessings.

Had a great time at the condo, it was clean and maintained in excellent fashion. Couldn't find the cheese slicer however for all that great cheese we picked up at the cheese store in Monterey.:)

House was very nice and very close to the beach. It was well supplied, clean and spacious. The only suggestion I have is to have some supplies available to clean the patio furniture. Birds were nesting above and made a mess of it. It took a while to clean it up before we could sit down and enjoy the wonderfull location. We had 6 adults and two children with us and we all enjoyed our summer vacation at the beach.

This was a great place to stay - very comfortable, spacious and well stocked with everything we needed to make it our "home" for the week. The location away from town and crowds was a blessing for quietness and relaxation. Easy access to the beach and the local tourist hot spots of Carmel, Monterey and Sta Cruz. Loved the firepits for roasting marshmallows with the grandkids. Go to Phils Fish Market in Moss Landing for delicious clam chowder. The weather was spectacular - sunny all 7 days and temps in the high 60's to low 70's. Bring a book, beverage and beach towel and call it Good! We would love to come back again for another family vacation!!

This was the third time renting this condo. Each time we have stayed here we have enjoyed memories that will last a life time. Our Grand children are constantly asking us when are we going to the beach again.We are planning on staying there twice more in 2004. The unit is as complete and as comfortable as our home and the sunsets are wonderful. Can't wait to get back to the beach...
