Description of the Monterey Bay vacation home rental
This wonderful property is located in Monterey only three short blocks to the beach, trails, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Cannery Row and downtown Pacific Grove.
The house was originally built in 1888 and thoroughly rebuilt in 2004. The remodel kept the Victorian charm, but brought modern amenities to the home. The quality of the remodel won the home the designation of the Featured Home for the 2006 Heritage Walk of Pacific Grove.
Enjoy the outdoor spaces at this wonderful retreat as well as the inside. Spend a relaxing afternoon on the covered front porch, pick a lemon from the citrus trees in the front yard, or watch the sailboats drift by from the rooftop deck.
For your entertainment, there are cable televisions in both sleeping areas, the living room and kitchen, as well as a DVD player in the living room. High speed internet access. Unlimited local and long distance telephone service.
You will enjoy cooking anything from a breakfast snack to a full dinner in the fully equipped kitchen, including a gas range with self-cleaning oven, microwave, dishwasher and full size refrigerator.
Hardwood floors throughout the property add to the charm and Victorian feel of the home. There is a full size washer and dryer as well.

I may have over looked this property had I not previously lived down the street for 10 years. Privacy, sunny front yard, low traffic street, perfect tub and kitchen, walk to shops and beach. And the owner is easy going too!

My husband and I with our 4 year old daughter stayed 3 nights in this lovely house. The house is beautiful and convenietly located near all Monterey/Carmel attractions. We had an amazing time and our daughter is still talking about the house and how much she loved staying there. We will defenitely stay there the next time we travel to the area.

My wife and I visited this beautiful home for our anniversary and couldn't believe how beautiful it was. The pictures are wonderful, but even they don't do it justice. There is a large claw bathtub, an observation deck on the roof and an high quality kitchen for making meals and saving money from eating out. We walked to Cannery Row and to all our activities (except kayaking). We are definitely hoping to visit this gorgeous home regularly!

This was out first time renting a house for a vacation and it was beautiful. Owner was quick and easy to work with and had no issues whatsoever. My wife and I already looking into making this a yearly vacation spot. Area is nice and quiet, walking distance to the beach trail.

This house really helped to make our vacation truly memorable. Quaint and comfortable. Walking distance to many tourist sites, shopping, and great restaurants, yet just far enough from the tourist area to be quiet and secluded. Beautiful view from the roof deck. Owner was a pleasure to deal with.

Excellent location in Monterey. We walked to the coffee places in the morning and to the bay. House itself is so charming. It is nicely remodeled, with all new high end convinionces including steam shower but still keeping an antic look. Kitchen has everything one would need on a short vacation stay. We would definitely stay there again if in the area.

I recently stayed at the wonderful victorian in PacificGrove. It is in a great location and was the perfect size for our small group. The neighborhood is really quiet so sleeping was great. The home is nicely decorated , really clean and the remodel is top notch. I also loved soaking in the large bathtub. The view from the roof is nice as well . I look forward to staying there again on my next trip to the Monterey area.

This quaint cottage is the perfect place to stay if you are planning a visit to the Monterey Bay. From the moment we walked in we instantly felt at home. The place was immaculately clean, well decorated and provided all of the ammenities we needed. Three blocks away from Cannery Row and the view from the deck was the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the most beautiful sunsets the bay has to offer. Although the cottage has been updated, my wife and I could still feel the nostalgia and thought of all of the history this place had seen over the past 75 years. I can honestly say that our experiance here was more than we could have ever expected and we are already planning our next trip! We now will refuse to stay anywhere else in the Bay, this place is absolutly "Top Notch"!

I was impressed with the way this remodel maintained the historic charm while updating with modern comforts! Great Pacific Grove location, comfortable and lovely furnishings, gorgeous floors and fireplace, and warm ambiance--good kitchen for foodies too. The view over rooftops of the ocean is an added plus! I'll return again...found owner to be very accommodating.

This was a perfect place for my sister, myself, and our 3 children. It had outdoor space for them to run and play around. They loved picking the lemons to make lemonade. The inside is very pretty with plenty of room. It was a great location within easy walking distance to many places.
