Description of the Monterey Bay vacation home rental

Stunning, beautifully furnished two-story on Architect's tour. Incredible ocean view from large upstairs deck, living room, bedroom, front yard.

- Ping pong table outside on large lower concrete deck

In addition to its great view of breaking waves, this seven-year-old vacation rental has a wall of windows, clean tile floor, island with bar stools, dining table for 10, and absolutely everything a gourmet cook would want.

The house has three full baths with showers, two have tubs; an outdoor shower on the lower deck for surfers. Handicap-accessible, baby crib and baby sheets provided.

Sleeps up to Nine
One bedroom upstairs has a king, flat-panel TV on the wall, large master bath, and ocean view. 2nd B/R upstairs has a queen, full bath, anteroom with a crib. One B/R downstairs has a queen, another has three single beds. Third, large bathroom downstairs, along with a den with flat-panel TV on the wall, chairs, 2nd refrigerator, oven, microwave, sink, and stovetop.

Location
Just off West Cliff Drive, on the quiet West side of Santa Cruz. Look over one rooftop, enjoy big breaking waves and surfers from on high. Great bakery and restaurant with outdoor tables (Kelly’s) up the street, plus a wineries. Great Italian (Ristorante Avanti) and the best Chinese restaurant in town (O’Mei) one mile away.

Go to the Boardwalk with its historical-landmark Carousel and ferris wheel, mere inches from the sand. Walk-on pier with walk-away seafood cocktails, restaurants, barking seals below in the water. World-famous surfing. 40 minutes to the Monterey Aquarium, a little further South to Carmel and Big Sur. One-hour drive North to San Francisco along the ocean, one of the most beautiful drives in America.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I've asked around and nobody in my family seems to be missing a cell phone charger. Thanks for checking with us, though.

The house at Santa Cruz was amazing. Our Mom stayed downstairs, where the girls slept as well. She was up early making coffee for us and going for walks on the beach every morning. The hand rail on the stairs was a big help for her; she suggests it would be real nice to have one in the downstairs shower, too. All in all, yours was the best located and well-appointed Santa Cruz house we have rented in four years. Thanks for the memories!
