Great two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment, excellently located in the upscale neighborhood of Pocitos. Close to shops, restaurants, transportation, and less than a quarter of a block away from the most stunning beach in Montevideo. First floor with two balconies: Eat-in kitchen with brand new appliances, living room, dining room with gorgeous wooden floors and elegant antique furnishings and decorations. Plenty of closet space. There is a queen size bed in one of the bedrooms, a twin in the other one, and a sofa bed in the living room area, which provide comfortable sleeping accommodations for five persons. This apartment is fully equipped with washer, dryer, air-conditioning, cable TV-ready, and telephone hookups. Maid service is available weekly for an additional fee. The building has a doorman 24/7.
Area Description
Pocitos is one of the most affluent neighborhoods of Montevideo, the capital city of Uruguay. It is 10 minutes away from the downtown district and 15-20 minutes away from the airport. It is a beautiful, safe and clean area, with all the infrastructure available in any city of Europe or the USA. The beach itself is considered one of the best in the world and comparable --although smaller in size-- to Ipanema or Copacabana in Rio.
