Situated on private lane with the lake on one side and the golf course's 11th fairway and hole on the other side. You'll enjoy walks or boat rides around your golf course, the lake, adjacent public golf courses, waterfront restaurants, live entertainment and dancing, friendly coffee & breakfast spots, shopping, golf, tennis, and water sports, plus fun-filled, family-friendly community events. Available weekly or longer: June 6 to Labor Day. Applications are currently being accepted for a limited time for weeks in summer of 2008 as well as summer & holidays in 2009.
Convenient to The Woodlands, Houston's downtown and a day trip to Dallas. Our historic Montgomery village--famous as the birthplace of the Lone Star flag--offers antique shopping, souveniers, and a must-see Cowboy church with weekly rodeos. Drive twenty+ minutes south to shop at the The Woodlands Mall and upscale marketplace with water taxi along its riverway. Or take the family to the Waterpark. Downtown Houston offers an abundance of world-class museums, professional sporting events, concerts, theatre, shopping and more!

Area Description

This is a one-of-a-kind home is surrounded and Houston's best golf course on one side and the lake on the other side with all of the amenities of a five star resort!

The 21,000 acres of Lake Conroe is a reserve drinking water supply for Houston and offers clean, cear water. The lake is 19 miles long and 5 miles wide. You'll be able to enjoy year-round fishing, boating and a variety of water activities. Boasting 14 marinas, six 18-hole golf courses and two 27-hole golf courses, along with shopping, sightseeing, you'll be amply entertained and pampered.
You'll have your choice of swimming, sailing, water skiing, golf, tubing, tennis and other water sports. You can also visit Sam Houston National Forest for hiking and biking trails.

Take out one of the boats, bike or drive to adjoining Lake Conroe is Sam Houston National Forest and Goodrich Jones State Forest which offers hiking, bird watching, horseback riding, camping.

Walk, drive or pile your family into a boat to go see lakefront live entertainment or to dine at the numerous lakefront restaurants & various public yacht clubs.

Visit from October - November, and you may want to visit the Texas Renaissance Festival.

Known for its trophy bass, many area fishing tournaments are held on the lake year round.

The Lake Conroe Family AQUATIC CENTER AND WATER PARK has two enclosed, heated pools along with interactive play structures, water blasters, mini slides, water curtain and two 22 foot water slides. This makes for a perfect family day of fun.

Take a cruise aboard the Southern Empress--a replica of an authentic 19th century paddle wheel boat--which offers brunch, lunch or dinner cruises around the lake.

NEARBY EXCURSIONS:
The NASA Johnson Space Center is the largest research and development facility of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Johnson Space Center is the focal point for the manned space flight program.

Take out one of the marina boats or bike, roller blade and walk along the biking and hiking trails at Walden or to / from the tennis facility, marina, yacht club, swimming pools, fishing sites or golf.
