perfect hosts, very well equiped flat

Our extremely friendly and helpful hosts and this nice, perfectly located flat - in walking-distance to downtown - made our stay in Montreal a real pleasure. We found everything we needed and just felt "at home" and a little bit "being local" :-)

Owners care about your comfort

We communicated by text to be greeted by the owners as we arrived. Montreal rush-hour traffic made us 30 minutes later than we had expected, but the owner was very patient, ready to let us in and give us our keys. The apartment was clean with all we needed, and a welcome to use the coffee provided. We were guided to our parking space for our car, and felt very welcome and happy with the space. It is only a couple of blocks from Rue de Catherine where we wandered to do people-watching, shopping, and find a dinner. We would ask for this place again is we came back to Montreal.

Great spot for our family!

Our family of 5 (one a toddler) were perfectly comfortable in this apartment, which was in a nice safe neighborhood downtown, not far from the lovely Atwater Market. It had everything we needed in the kitchen, and a back deck for enjoying our meals outside in the unseasonably summery weather! Beds were comfy, there was plenty of space, free wireless, delicious bagels and coffee waiting for our breakfast, and Luda and Oleg were accommodating and thoughtful. THANK YOU!

A great apartment in a fantastid location!!

The pictures do not do this apartment justice. It's conveniently located a few minutes' walk from two different metro lines, or one can simply walk right to the city center and see some sights on foot. However, the street the apartment is on is very quiet. At no time did we need to request anything extra. The owners have stocked the apartment with linens, plates, pots and pans, glasses, games, books (for the rainy days that April often brings), and everything else one can think of. The owners also asked me how old my children were before we got there so they could make sure the kids had something to keep themselves entertained during our stay. When we encountered severe delays on our way over, the owners were kind enough to meet us at the apartment at 11 PM on a Sunday. Oleg even lent us his laptop after mine would not work with his wi-fi connection. We definitely recommend this apartment for families with or without children and absolutely plan on staying there again.

Charming & Spacious

The apartment was charming, spacious, clean and in a great location. The Metro is close by, as is downtown, with a nice selection of restaurants in walking distance. The owners are friendly, helpful, and the fresh bagels are a thoughtful touch. Though we were here in the winter, the apartment's proximity to the Lachine Canal, with its bike paths, would make it ideal in the summer. We'll be back!

Gem in Montreal

The apartment was so charming, clean and light filled, and the DeVreeze's were fantastic hosts. We were greeted with bagels, amazing Quebecois beer, coffee, creamers, and age appropriate toys for our children. We could not have found a better place to stay in the city. The hosts were able to provide gear for our kids so we didn't have to bring a bunch of equipment with us, and our older child loved the books in the apartment and the stuffed toys. The location is great, walking distance to the Atwater Market and Ste Catherine street, but close to a couple of Metro stations as well. We had a lovely brunch on Rue Notre Dame, the whole neighbourhood invites exploration. If you're looking for a relaxing, comfortable place to stay, and one which feels like home and not a snooty hotel, then this is the flat for you.

Wonderful Stay

Fantastic location - close to downtown, metro station and Atwater Market. Very quaint apartment, parking available, outdoor terrace with grill (and pet friendly!!) The owners are very hospitable. We had a fantastic vacation and would absolutely come back!!

Very Nice and cozy place...

My family and I stayed (with our pets included) at the top floor apartment. We absolutely loved it. The family who owns the apartment was very hospitable. The place was very clean and full of towels, soap, etc., and even fresh bagels from the very famous Fairmont Bagels bakery in Montreal. Parking was available for 1 car and the family even offered to walk our dogs if necessary. I totally recommend this place as and option if looking for this sort of experince.
