The Gîte is located on Rue De Bullion (De Bullion Street) and Rue Prince-Arthur intersection, at the heart of the Plateau Mont-Royal, certainly the most dynamic neibourghood in Montreal. At that level, Prince-Arthur street is reserved to pedestrians and is host to several restaurants and boasts a remarkable atmosphere.

Area Description

We are only steps away from Saint-Laurent and Saint-Denis streets, both famous for their shops, pubs and restaurants. We are also located five walking minutes from Downtown Montreal, the "Quartier Latin" and only a few more from the Old Montreal and the Palais des Congrès (French for Convention Centre). As far as cultural environment is concerned, we are close from the cinema Ex-centris, a true gem for lovers of repertoire cinema. Various other movie theatres are accessible by foot. The Musée des Arts Contemporain (modern arts museum), Musée des Beaux-Arts (arts museum) and several arts galleries are also readily accessible. Visitors can also enjoy the Carré Saint-Louis (Saint-Louis square), one of Montréal's most beautiful green park. For public transportation, we are located within walking distance from the Métro (subway) and city and regional bus lines. Montréal's extensive bicycle trail network is also at close proximity. Finally, the Plateau's notoriety is firmly established and the Gîte, being located at its very heart will give you the occasion to taste it to the fullest.

Tres chere Diane, merci enormement de m'avoir accueilli aussi chaleureusement pendant ces quelques mois.
