Description of the Montreal vacation guesthouse rental

The guest house is situated on a 5 acre property with the main house closeby. An inground heated pool is available for the guests to use and the house has a yard with deck, furniture, gas bar-b-que etc. The grounds are manicured and the area offers hiking, swimming, boating, golf, flea markets, great restaurants. Ottawa is one hour away and there are two recreatiional areas within an hour drive - i.e. the Laurentians and the Eastern Townships. Montreal is a 45 minute drive with museums, shows, fabulous world renowned restaurants etc.
The house has two floors, main floor has a powder room, comfortable sofa and chairs, T.V. with satelite dish, armoire
filled with books and a stone fireplace with wood provided.
The second floor has a very large kitchen with sitting area,
a large bathroom with shower and tub and washer/dryer behind doors. There are two large bedrooms with air conditioning and the kitchen is fully equipped for self catering. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two twins. THere is a cot and a crib if needed. The linens are always updated and of the best quality.

Area Description

We are situated on a river, with river views and the Rigaud mountain is in our back yard. There is hiking on the mountain in the summer and wonderful park with lots of activities (rope climbing, rock climbing etc.) for all ages. There are flea markets and antique markets nearby and you can walk to the village, which has liquor store, 2 large supermarkets, drugstore, two banks, video rental etc.etc. Our property is huge with open spaces for badminton, cricket, football, mini putt etc.etc.
