Description of the Morro Bay vacation home rental
This spacious house has 3,000 sq. ft. of well designed and furnished elegance. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms, a fully equipped eat-in kitchen that steps out onto the deck which takes in an incredible 180 degree view of the ocean, Morro Bay and the coastal mountain range. There is a large barbeque and patio set providing the best spot in the area to cook outdoors. The great room has a wall of windows overlooking the coast and is the perfect place to relax while enjoying the company of family and friends. This house is generously supplied and designed with your comfort and happiness in mind.
The bedrooms comfortably accommodate 12 guests. We provide satellite TV, high speed internet access, telephone, stereo, games, reading material, and literature to make dining and touring easy for our visitors. Most of the rooms and garden offer breathtaking views of the ocean, Estero Bay, Morro Bay and California's "Rock of Gibraltar" .
Area Information
See the waves crashing on the beach and hear the roar of the Pacific Ocean as you enjoy the tranquility of this peaceful setting. Los Osos is nestled between two state parks, Morro Bay State Park and Montana De Oro, famous for it 's 6 mile long stretch of pristine beaches and endless ocean side trails providing a great variety of places to discover, experience and explore.
Montana do Oro State Park is just around the corner with it's beaches and Sand Dunes which offer kayaking, sailing, picnicking, hiking, surfing and exploration. It is a short distance from Sea Pines Golf Course and Morro Bay State Park and Golf Course . Morro Bay is a working fishing village where you can enjoy fresh wild seafood at one of the many fine restaurants along the Embarcadero. Families can venture out on boat excursions, visit the Natural History Museum, browse the many gift shops or galleries and enjoy local homemade ice cream. Closer to home are the towns of Los Osos and Baywood Park which have many choices for dining, quaint café 's and shopping. There are several local
wineries which offer wine tasting tours and special events. Historic Cayucos, Cambria, San Simeon and Hearst Castle are a short drive up Pacific Coast
Highway 1.

70th Anniversary Celebration

My 2 siblings, our spouses and our parents spent several days together in this beautiful home in celebration of our parents' 70th wedding aniiviersary. It was the perfect place for preparing meals together, playing games, visiting, enjoying the amazing views, and just relaxing. In addition, its proximity to fun and interesting hikes and beach towns made it a perfect place for us.

Couples wine outing

The house was very comfortable for 4 old couples/friends to get away from politics and cut loose. We played cards every night at the big table. We drank wine on the balcony every cocktail hour. The kitchen was well supplied. The only thing I would add would be screens on the sliding doors to keep the flies out . All in all a good value.

From the moment we opened the front door we were amazed by the fantastic view of Morro Bay. Denise was very accomidating and was easily reached by phone/ email throughout our stay for any questions that arose. The house was amazing and comfortable enough for our large family reunion. Plenty of things for the kids to do to keep them busy. The gameroom in the garage was a great idea so as to leave the adults alone to hang out. We brought our own food and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cooking items. She even brought us a brand new crockpot after we told her the handle was broken on the one provided. The Blue Sky Cafe was great and Denise was there to offer ideas of things to do but we made the mistake of waiting till the last day to go so make sure you visit the Cafe early on. There was plenty of sleeping space with pull out beds and mattresses. It was fun to watch the deer stroll through the neighborhood. Thanks Denise

Family Vacation

We spent our annual family vacation at this wonderful home. It was comfortable and roomy for all of us. Denise was so helpful with information about the area. The perfect fit

Hello there My family stayed over the weekend in this turn key rental. We opened the front door to a wonderful view of Morro bay and the Rock that dominates the bay. The neighborhood's very quiet with access to some very nice restarunts in Morror bay. We will use the property in the future, hopefully near future. Cheers

Wish I could stay longer

This was an amazing Memorial Day weekend. Relaxing, comfortable and fun. There is something for everyone in the house. Denise was helpful and gave us good tips on what to do around Morro Bay. Once again, wish we had more time. Would like to return some time in the future. The town restaurants close early, by about 7:30pm but there is Pizza place and Vons thats open till 11pm.

Thanksgiving Stay

This home is perfect for a big group (8) and the home is wonderfully located for a family of young children with lots of room to play. It was a little far from Groceries (20 miles) and restaurants (7 to 10 miles). It was 7 miles north from Hearst Castle - which is a great experience to take in. The only problem we had were mice and the owner did not do a walk-thru before renters came in - some things needed attention. All in all it was a great memory-maker for our Thanksgiving.

Dream home

We rent a vacation home every year, and we've had various outcomes. This home was in our top 3 favorites ever! Our group of 13 is hard to fit, but we were pleased at how spacious and accomodating this home was. The view was spectacular and the master suite is to die for! Everyone in our party was very happy. We did bring air mattresses in case some of the bedding wasn't comfortable, and we were glad we did since the sofa bed wasn't the best. That was a small thing though in comparison to this great place. We would come back to this house for sure!

Our house was never rented to the person who left the comment and they must have been confused as they are describing a house in San Simeon. Wrong house. Please ignore that posted comment.
They originally planned to rent our house but chose the San Simeon house, thus the confusion I suspect!
