Great Vacation

We've been coming to the lake for about 15 yrs and this spot is #1. Our son is 8 yrs old and it was a perfect spot for him. Playing in the yard and swimming. The house was the perfect lake house and the neighbors were great. Great location on the lake. Quiet but close enough to everything by boat. Hopefully we will be back next year. Dan & Susan

Cozy and great location

We were going to a wedding at Castle in the Clouds and needed a place to stay close-by. This house was perfect for us. It's a small ranch cottage, but it's very spacious. It was clean and comfortable. We loved the private lake area and the deck. It was very hot and the house had air conditioning and multiple fans, which was nice. We packed food and the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. Parking was great. It was quiet. The house is private but is also close to stores and restaurants. We had a great experience. We originally went for a wedding, but we will definitely be making this an annual vacation.

Delightful home

On our first trip to the Lakes region, we were flying blind. We selected this property online. Imagine our delight when we found out that we could easily walk (about 200 yards) to the little public beach and the lovely pier and dock. Guess where I had my coffee every morning. And the house itself was great. Not too big not too small very nicely appointed and kept. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch. We expect to look for 215 again if we return to the Lakes region.

The house was very nice and well decorated. The lake was beautiful and a lot of fun to boat in. The view of the lake from the house was unbelievable. The house was very clean and in great shape. The kitchen was well stocked. Our family had a great time staying at the house. A short drive to town and centrally located to do things.

Do it all or do nothing!

We loved our one week in this little house - or should I say out of it. We were mostly outside since the weather was great, the beach is spacious, water crystal clear, and all attractions within short distance. The house itself is outdated, but comfortable and clean. The mattresses were not very great and took some getting used to, but okay. What we didn't know is that only one bedroom has a queen bed, the second has a full size - so I ended up sleeping in it with my toddler who didn't want to sleep alone and my husband ended up on one of the twin beds. Something to keep in mind if you're hoping for two queen beds. Also, there is no mini fridge mentioned, the tap water is so clean I could drink it, AC doesn't really reach the bedrooms but they have good fans in each bedroom. The gas grill did not grill very evenly and meat doesn't taste the same as charcoal grill, but we managed somehow. I guess the owners are planning on building something else there, hence it is in an okay condition. It was good enough just for sleeping and making our meals there. Would vacation there again for sure just because of the location and the beach!

Great place to relax, just walk out the door to the private beach area.The cottage was cozy needs a little cosmetic updating/interior cleaning.
