Cold Spring Cabin has a beautiful view of Mt. Ascutney from both the sleeping porch and the bathtub!
Forest Echo Farm in Mt. Holly, Vermont, offers an escape to the wilderness within a comfortable, rustic setting. Forest Echo Farm was a working farm at the turn of the century. Today, our cabins provide you with an inexpensive vacation spot amidst 400 acres of Vermont wilderness.
Cold Spring is our most intimate cabin. There is a beautiful view of Mt. Ascutney from both the sleeping porch and the bathtub!
Cold Spring has one double bed on the screened-in sleeping porch, two twin beds in a separate bedroom and one twin bed with a trundle bed in the main room. The main room offers a cozy wood stove. In the kitchen there is a sink and gas-powered refrigerator and stove. The indoor bathroom features a large, old fashioned tub, a sink and a toilet. There is also an outdoor shower and an outhouse.
On-site trails, two ponds, canoes, and a playground are all available for your use. It is perfect for a family vacation or a romantic get-away. Dogs welcome.

Peace and wilderness

We've been very pleased by our stay in Forest Echo Farm' Papaerstock Cabin. The cabin is awesome. Lot of space, great sunlight on the porch, well furnished (the hammock is so great) . The caretakers are kind and generous in infos and tips. We've enjoyed hiking in the forest, watching animals and birds and canoeing in Tiny Pond. This stay was fantastic , I wonderful journey to the peace, simplicity and calm of a forest cabin with full privacy. No one around, only nature and its noises, chirps and whistles. We will go there again, for sure, it is already like a second home!
