The lovely home is located in the Pleasant View area of Shenandoah County. Beauty surrounds you in the park-like setting of fields, yards and a white pine forest.

Scenes of mountains and farmland, from the numerous picture windows and open decks, are uplifting and heart-warming, instilling peace and tranquility.

An open floor plan graces the home. A rock chimney and fireplace woodstove centers the Great Room, where you may pursue indoor activities while having full views of yards, decks and mountains through floor to ceiling windows. Rocking recliners, comfy furniture and charming antiques grace the home. Beds are pillowtop and you can fall asleep watching the stars and mountains. Be pampered by hand crafted quilts and afghans and high quality linens. All bedding protected from allergins and pests. The home is meticulously cleaned and safe for your visit.

Area Description

Being centered in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, every attraction is only minutes from the home. Visit famous Civil War Battlefields, the Shenandoah River, a covered bridge, mountain and valley drives, walks or bike rides. Lots of antique shops, quaint restaurants offering country cooking, and the Appalachian Trail runs right through the Valley. National Forests surround the Valley offering unlimited outdoor activities. Our guide book provides numerous drives, hikes and walks to wonderful places only natives know of as well as restaurant reviews, church listings and tips for fun activities. The rock home is 90 minutes from Dulles International Airport.

Vacation Rental Policies

Payment Options: Cashier's Check, Money Order, Personal Check
Check In: 3 p.m.
Check Out: 11 a.m.
Required Stay: 3 Night Minimum
Lodging Tax: 2%
Deposits: $200 deposit, refundable at end of trip. One Half of Rent holds your reservation.
Other Fees: Rates: $875/week for 1-2 guests. Add $25 each additional guest. THREE night minimum: $175/night for 1-2 guests. Add $10/night for each additional guest. Monthly: $2100 for 1-2 guests. $100/month each additional guest. $150/each night over one week for up to six guests. January 1 - March 31: 10% off all rates.

I have rented a number of vacation homes and this one by far was stocked better than any. No need to pack alot of extras - just your food and clothes. Laundry detergent, soap, etc. were already there!! I really appreciated that. A lovely view, very peaceful and quiet. The home was immaculate. The homeowners were lovely and added a few nice touches to show they care. Great place. We will come back!!

A beautiful home in a stunning landscape. Well-appointed, the owners have thought about their guests every need. My only regret is that we did not have a longer stay. I hope to visit again.
