Located in a very safe area 1 mile to Sullivan's Island Beach, 6 miles to downtown, 12 miles to the airport, 2 miles to Shem Creek’s famous seafood restaurants, 4 miles to the Yorktown at Patriot’s Point, and 1 mile to Pitt Street Bridge, this condo offers a huge King size Rice Bed in bedroom as well as a top line queen sleeper in LR. The full bath with extra deep tub/shower is located thru BR. The living area is open concept with large comfy denim sleeper (beautyrest) and wing back chair, plus Chromecast on 42" HDTV, so with your smart phone's free app, you'll be able to access your Netflix, Amazon Prime, Vudu accts, Instagram photos, and much more., 26" flatscreen in BR, kitchen fully equipped, and dining table seats 4 comfortably. A stack washer/dryer is in hall closet.
Walk 1 mile to Sullivan’s island’s gorgeous beach and fun pubs, or 1 mile the other direction to Old Pitt Street Bridge, a 1000-foot pier, is a favorite biking, walking, crabbing, fishing destination on the Intercoastal Waterway with incredible sunsets overlooking downtown Charleston. A full shopping center, 2 grocery stores, and 8 restaurants/pubs are less than 2 blocks walk. There are five top golf courses within 10 to 20 minutes drive and many more 30-45 minutes.
One of our best features is that we are located in a much lower traffic area than most of the Charleston Area. Mount Pleasant’s Old Village is accessible to downtown and beaches without entering the main traffic areas of Hwy 17 which have become a burden to our city. Directions will be direct and simple and involve few complicating factors. This can make a serious difference in your experience. It was built in 1975, renovated in 2008. The Village is the nicest area, but all the brand new places are miles up the HWY.

History, Hospitality, Beaches and Beer!

My son from Cleveland Ohio joined my husband, myself, and our dog (we drove from Charlotte, NC ....3 hours all interstate!) for a get-away/Anniversary treat to this terrific condo in Mount Pleasant, SC. It had exactly what we needed, without any extra hassles to worry about. When I plan a get-away, by extra hassles I mean......I want a location that is safe, comfortable, affordable, and not a gazillion miles away from what I want to do and see. This condo is it! The area is close to beautiful views of the Charleston Harbor, and Shem Creek which you absolutely have to experience. Sullivan's Island Beach is quaint and local, and has a bike path leading to it. I am a runner/fitness enthusiast, so this was Heaven! The condo is next door to House of Brews, which is convenient for my beer loving travelers. Everything was in great working order in the condo, and it was well cared for. Everyone, and I do mean everyone was super friendly in this area. I would suggest to anyone staying here to bring or rent bicycles to take in the area if possible. We were on foot, many places, such as Downtown Charleston, however the whole area is indeed ideal for bicycling, therefore when we return, we plan to bring bikes! The owner of the condo, Susan, was prompt in communication and very thorough in regard to safety and respectful neighborhood rules. She did not miss any details to make an experience optimal including excellent references within the condo. I hated to leave!
