Description of the Mount Shasta vacation home rental

The McCloud Vacation Home is located on Mt. Shasta in Northern California.

The house can sleep up to 13 guests and everything is provided for you to move right in.

The house has 3 bedroom and each bedroom has an adjoining private full bath.

The back yard is private and the yards are ideal for sunning, relaxing in the shade, listening to the birds or star/galaxy gazing.

The kitchen has been fully remodeled and just about anything you might need is available!

All Egyptian cotton linens and plush bath towels are new and provided

Stay nice and warm, dry seasoned fire wood is also available at no extra cost.

This region in Northern California lies one of the best kept secrets!

Fishing, hiking, golfing, bird watching, swimming, skiing, snow boarding, cross county skiing are literally just a few of the fun out door activities you can do in the Shasta Cascade region.

Over 10 + people add $25 per night per person Deposits & Fees: $300 refundable plus first night $100 pet deposit (per pet/limit 2) refundable after inspection/call for details and house rules $90 cleaning fee

 Wonderful home away from home, August 4, 2009

Had a great visit to my hometown of McCloud and so enjoyed this great house. The bedding was the most comfortable I had ever slept in. Loved the private backyard, relaxing porch area, and closeness to the park. We enjoyed a great family bbq and had everything we needed in the kitchen, plenty of room for our guests, and the kids enjoyed the kid area and many games they discovered our last night there. Do look around the house, there are many items I found on the last night that we could have been enjoying all along, like the games for the kids! The kids also enjoyed playing in the patio area and side yard. Will stay again and again.

The house was clean and well stocked with household amenities to make one feel at home, so one should look throughout (e.g. washer/dryer in garage) to be aware. It is the kind of place one would leave a few beers for the next guest - note the frosted glasses in the freezer. Weather was perfect for hiking and exploring the many lakes and waterfalls, and the top of Mt. Shasta was clear of clouds several times in 4 days. Great place to relax!
