Description of the Mt Desert vacation home rental

4 bedroom, 2& 1/2 bath, 1 Queen, 1 King, 2 Twin beds all on one floor. Can sleep 6 to 10 people comfortably.

Welcome to the Captain's Quarters Vacation Rental. A spacious cottage which sleeps 6-10 people. Enjoy beautiful water views and magnificent views of the Acadia National Park mountains. This rental has a tender, boat ramp, use of a dock, and a mooring for any size boat on beautiful Somes Sound, the only fjord on the Eastern Seaboard. Captains Quarters cottage has a mud room that separates a 2nd Master Suite wing which has a private bath and huge walk in closet. There are 4 bedrooms in total, 2 & 1/2 baths, 2 King, 2 Twin beds all on one floor, with a bedroom upstairs which has 1 Queen and 2 Twin Beds and a private deck area. There is also a large bonus room downstairs with a Franklin Stove, a commode bath & mini kitchen, plus a ping pong table for your enjoyment

Quality, comfort, and convenience is what you can expect to find at Captain's Quarters.

It is also wheelchair accessible.

Area Information

Located in the center of Acadia National Park in the heart of Mount Desert Island on Somes Sound. Captains Quarters is very convenient to Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor, Seawall, Northeast Harbor, Seal Harbor and miles of mountain and hiking trails.

Enjoy fine restaurants, boutique shopping, and convenience to all activities & points of interest.

The village of Hall Quarry provides a quiet, relaxing, peaceful environment. Must-do activities include: Whale Watching, lobster boat tours, hiking/biking carriage roads, hiking mountains, and exploring ocean drive.
